The Cave Makers and Raters guild (or Raters Guild for short) was made 18 November 2005 by _itshappybunny_ and shamoo_guy.
The Guild is notorious for its inactiveness. Even _itshappybunny_ and shamoo_guy rarely visited the guild anymore. Back in 2007, the only active members were jellsprout, Mackenzie_111_111 and arinwt.
_itshappybunny_ felt guilty for leaving his guild in the dust. So in 2007, he left the guild and put jellsprout in charge. But despite his best efforts, he couldn't "win any new souls", as he called it.
Some time after, Flame of the Interguild found the guild. He offered the Raters Guild to join the Interguild, an alliance of three other HatPC Guilds. After discussing it with the two other active members, jellsprout accepted. Several of members of the other Interguild Guilds joined the Raters Guild, such as Flame and Jebby.
But the activeness didn't return. The second competion didn't even receive one single entry. After a while, no new posts were made anymore. Jellsprout gave up on the guild and spend his time on the Interguild Forums.
In 2008, jellsprout decided to completely give up on the Raters Guild. It turned out that the only member who was still active on Neopets was Mackenzie_111_111. Jellsprout put her in charge to decide on the fate of the guild.
As of today, the Raters Guild is still abandoned. Mackenzie_111_111 decided to not delete it, but didn't put any effort into the guild either.

perhaps we should have these on all our guilds? there's the cavers guild, the PCCA, and...uhh...another one....something with idea givers, perhaps?  | |

well someone's gotta know some stuff. i wasn't active at the guilds, only at the IG, but i do reember the PCCA had like 150 members at their best, and more than 6000 posts. | |
