This guide allows you to load any level, any size, regardless of uploader glitches. You can bypass all uploading errors Neopets forced upon the users.

One time:
Step 1: Download Fiddler
Step 2: Install Fiddler

Every time you start Fiddler:
Step 3: Type into the black bar at the bottom left.
Step 4: Click "Inspectors" and then "TextView" on the tabs on the lower half of the right side.

For every cave you want to load:
Step 5: Attempt to load a level (one that doesn't exist is fine).
Step 6: Find the http request for "/games/cavemaker/pirate_level_load.php?username=usernameyouenteredinhatpc" on the list to the left (it's probably the bottom one).
Step 7: Click "Break on Response" (middle-right).
Step 8: Click "TextView" and replace the contents of the lower text-box with the cave you want to load.
Step 9: Click "Run to Completion".

A convenient method could probably be made so that you could load levels without having to repeat those steps every time, but it would take some work to do and IDK what the set-up would be like on your end.

Link to Fiddler.

Test results of using this method of loading levels with errors in it include, but isn't limited to, the following:
'canadianstickdeath' said:
- Invalid Terrain Type: Either crashes as soon as it reads the terrain type or crashes as soon as it tries to load any terrain.
- Invalid Background Type: Background is all black. Crashes after a second.
- Invalid Water Type: Crashes as soon as it tries to load a water level. Water taps will load but will not function. Let them run a few seconds or break a few water crates and it will crash. The stream of a water tap is falling is visible, but only the white line.
- Multiple Starting Positions: Only the last starting position in reading order will function, though all of them will appear on the map.
- Multiple Water Levels: Appear to function pretty much like you would expect, essentially creating a row of air pockets starting at where the 2nd water level is placed. Could potentially see use in a cave in order to have an object inside of an air pocket at the very start, but I can't really see that being worth the trouble.
- Especially Large/Small Levels: Load correctly.
- Titles: You can put anything you want. Blank title works fine. Really long title pushes "press jump to start" downward. Not really sure if there's a limit to how long of a title you could use. If you want, you can have the game tell you that it couldn't load the level because you're too stupid using the error; thing.

I figured that this was important enough to get its own thread. To make sure that credit goes where credit is due, the original posts were linked and quoted, with minor changes in one of the quotes (you have to press Inspectors and Textview at one point, which CSD forgot to mention).

Anyway, I am going to test what happens when you have more than 5/6 monsters in a level.

IIRC, nothing will change. I think it was the game's level loader that actually limited the number of monsters, not the uploader

The clicking inspectors thing saves I guess so that's why I forgot to include it on the list of steps.

We could do multiple doors already w/ lower case d. It's the same as w/ starting positions.

Have you clicked Inspectors earlier, in step 4? If so, you should see it in the middle-right, it's a yellow button. Next to it is the green Run to Completion button.

Oh, and you also need to click the link on the left where it says "/games/cavemaker/pirate_level_load.php?username=usernameyouenteredinhatpc" before finding the Break on Response button.

We could change it to ?caveoftheweek=1 so that you don't have to type some random name each time and you just click Cave of the Week?

Eh, yeah, that's faster. Lol, so now there's finally a button for almost instant testing of your own level. You don't even have to enter a fake username...

I must be doing something wrong. When I try with a nonexistent user name, I can break the response paste in some code and complete it, but I get the stereotypical error message for a nonexistent name. If I do it with a legit name, and I break, paste and complete, the normal level loads (the one up on the account). You gotta type it into the box next to "view in notepad" right? I hope this doesn't end up like CSD's cavemaker where I wasn't able to use it until long after it was released/discovered :/.

Not view in notepad. Click the "text view" above the lower box and then paste it directly into the lower box.

This is so cool, I got it to work. Anyways Thomas, you should post here to get more karma.

Anyways, is there anyway to dummy it down so new players/5 year olds will start playing and uploading here?

Success! I was pasting it before literally into the box next to "find in notepad", Isa's video rocks (Y U NO UPLOAD TO SITE). I agree with CSD though, it's comforting to finally be able to say "up yours" to TNT, but really the most of levels that never got unglitched were usually never deglitched because they had a ludicrous amount of arrows, resulting in a insane difficulty. Who gives a ****? LET'S MAKE SOME WALKTHROUGHS!
