Authors: Yaya, Harumbai Game: Hannah and the Pirate Caves Date: Friday, April 16, 2010 - 10:17 pm
Description: Level made by Harumbai and me. It's kinda hard to explain who made which parts, but you should be able to figure that out. Contains some backtracking. According to Harumbai, he still needs to fix his ending trap, but I really doubt any of you will get that far. And we just decided for time sake that we should upload it now.
Fixed the trap.., I think.

It's on Yayabai. And since Harumbai made part of it, you can't ignore it like my caves (kidding). Enjoy.

Yayabai sounds cute =3
In terms of fun and difficulty, I actually preferred this to Progression. It just had that sort of tingle in me. The traps were somewhat well timed =) Will comment on progression.... Can someone help me? I'm kinda stuck after the boulder part.... I'm nooby =(

Beneath this line, there's a small rant on the use of secret areas.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Holy cow there's a lot of secret areas in here.
Now, no offense to neither of you, but I really dislike secret areas - one, finding them is a pain if you're not looking for them/expecting them, first puzzle for example and two, even when expecting them, they cause much frustration when the ground suddenly disappears beneath your feet and starts a trap (first trap after grabbing the treasure). Try to avoid them instead of using them as a way to cover up holes in the looks of the cave.
It's a good thing that you used tutorial arrows, but when you didn't, I was either confused or frustrated, often both.
I recommend using the map generator for this cave. A lot. | | Yaya |

I honestly didn't think we used to many secret areas, the only overkill areas we did Imo is getting the extra life and all the backtracking. To my knowledge, the only time I put in a unfair secret area is when you have to jump over the spikes above the boulder puzzle.
Besides that, I put in no hidden pits or corner jumps, and terrain one is pretty easy to see through for me. Yes, the map generator helps, but I can think of a lot more caves that poorly use secret areas.
Anyways, I think if we did use less secret areas the cave's shape would just look strange, it looks good enough for now. Maybe people's stance on secret areas differ from person to person, maybe Harumbai will agree with you, I don't know.

9.4/10 Amazing! Ok, I'm trying beat the cave some 1/6 of day and it's really cool! Before reading comments I tried to beat it and the boulder part on the beginning was tricky and the best! If I'll beat it, then can I make a WT? I think I will find time, may I tried it on the 1/6 part of day, but on 4/6 part of day I'm trying beat the stupid Snowflake again, but while filming... | | Yaya |
