There are four gems, so if you can get all four, the level will be significantly harder
This level is basically all speed traps, except for the very end, which is a very nice puzzle... heh.

So I found a glitch. In the start of the game, jump to the right continuously and the boulders will not go down.

It's good to be back.

It's not really much of a glitch, because if you do that, then there's no way to continue the level

And I'm not entering this in 2s, since I already have an entry.

It's some kinda warning not to use your invincibility. I know that you already have an entry but if you don't have one, this will be accepted right?

This level is impossible, the door is on the very right.

Do you have any other accounts you can upload this on? Yaya finally achieves a personally victory by witnessing Soccerboy upload a non-fiddler level, only to not find it uploaded anymore on an account.

Follow the arrows (easier said than done )

They do help though. It's fairly linear, but it's fastpaced.

9.1/10
Amazing!
4.3/5 — Hard
This level came up in a PM conversation between me and Soccerboy. Just to let yall know this isn't a random review.

I got to the final room without using checkpoints, then under the belief that the final puzzle was uber cheatable and the door was impossible to get through, I jumped into some spikes. Soccerboy informed me otherwise, so I watched the puzzle part in the walkthrough.

Positives:
-This is how hard caves should be done. Highly addictive, fun to play, and containing traps that the player can get better at the more they play the level.
-It's a great example of an almost* nonstop full-adrenaline speed cave. They seem to be rarely made, and I have always enjoyed them. Most speed caves are "start a trap, beat that trap, start the next trap, beat that trap" and so on. This was highly connected and you basically couldn't slow down anywhere.
-Inventive  boulder traps. I was so glad this wasn't an entire cave of "multiple columns of two boulder high stacks that knock each other over block off access to something" traps. You know what I'm talking about. I would hard pressed to come up with this many unique boulder traps/scenarios, and not using platforms/ladders takes it to another crazy level. The opening trap was somewhat standard, but fit in perfectly so it didn't matter.
-Like I said before, it's pretty fun if you don't mind dying a lot.
-These are definitely traps that you improve on as you play more. I had catlike reflexes in the beginning of the level during my later tries.
-Tutorial arrows! Some were helpful, others were not. But the ones that were helpful were greatly appreciated.
-Interesting workaround puzzle to getting in the door. I didn't even know that was possible.
-No Fiddler. +respect

Negatives:
-Annoying spikes. Jeez, you already have to keep up with and avoid impending boulder avalanches. Some spikes in this level were just adding insult to injury. The ones I found most annoying were that single ceiling spike after the fifteenth treasure (I kept jumping into this one), that single floor spike after the first group of 4 treasures (I kept running into this one), and the first spike to your left after you go down the boulder hill towards the end of the cave (I kept falling into this one). I could bring up a lot more if I wanted to, but I understand that some were to prevent cheatability or easier timing. The ones I just mentioned, though. Those were overkill/unnecessary. Others still felt unnecessary, I would be here a while if I tried to find them all.
-Some tutorials just weren't enough. There were parts where I physically could not react fast enough even with instructions the first couple of times through the area.
-The traps after the groups of four treasures weren't as exciting or as interesting as the rest of the cave. I imagine you were running low on ideas by then or just tired of making original and well-timed boulder traps, but that downward passage after the groups of four treasures feels really generic compared to the rest. It feels like it could be from any cave.
-I know it's pointless to complain about the timing in this cave, but if I had to whine about one part, it would be the part before the first group of four treasures where you have to jump over a falling boulder and onto a pile of other boulders before they get destroyed. That was just ridiculous. I pretty much beat it by spamming my space bar. You absolutely have to screw up nothing before that if you want to beat it. The only part of the cave with really forgiving timing (as in you might be able to make a small mistake and still beat the trap) is up to that group of five treasures. After that, if you mess up you're pretty much screwed.
-Speaking of timing, that one trap after the first group of three treasures always bugged me. It's where you run to the crawlspace before the dynamite crates explode and drop boulders on you. That was really the only trap in the cave I felt like I had no control over whether I could pass. I feel like I would do the exact same moves and the exact same timing on multiple occasions, only to make it sometimes and get flattened others. Was there anything funny about that trap, because I was really beginning to suspect there was?
-*Except for a freaking puzzle at the end? Don't get me wrong, it was a cool and rather easy to solve from what it looks like. But it was totally out of place and kind of anticlimactic. Same problem The Ascent II had. I was expected some grand cluster**** of boulders to come after me as I jumped into the door and made it by the hairs of my squirrel, not *push* *push* *push* *explode* YOU'RE WINNER!

Overall, it was a devilish blast to play and my favorite cave of yours that I've played in recent memory. There was a period where I didn't play any HATPC earlier this year, and I ocassionally just glance over the newest L# level as opposed to playing it , so I'll be sure to go back and see if anything tops this. You lose some points for slightly uninspired closing traps, an out of place puzzle, and the occasional use of truly medieval timing, but it still deserves to be scored high. I kinda want to make a nonstop speed cave now. Did you set out to make the level this difficult, or did it just end up that way?

Thank you very much for both the conversation and the rate/commentary.

When I made this level, I intended for it to be much harder than the first one. When I finished it I realized how incredibly hard the timing was, and /tried/ to loosen it, but some places were so compact that I wasn't able to.

Comment about the weaker traps at the end: while playing your level, Yaya's Little Monster, I realized that if the door was pushed to the very right that it was impossible (so i thought). While testing random stuff in cavemaker i found out that if a crate is next to it, it pushes you in. I really wanted to incorporate this into the level, but i also wanted to use zero g for that trap, so i did some easier traps to get you to the bottom rather than having just a straight down drop. not sure if that worked exactly how i wanted. thanks again for rating.
