Description: If my files are correct, it's been TWO YEARS since I made a serious cave. Currently up on jebby457.
DBK's 'Candy' level inspired me to make a cave of my own that was reasonably balanced. I haven't got the balance between difficulty and fun to the precise level that DBK did, but I think that this dominantly puzzle cave should be entertaining and not too difficult. There's not one section in the cave that I would label difficult, but there are two aspects that could make the overall item a little tricky at times: 1. figuring out what to do and 2. the cumulative effect of several easy spike traps. I've beat it a few times so it can't be that hard!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxsZYJgHkmc (this is a walkthrough for those who need help)
I hope people enjoy it - I'm probably not quite as efficient at cavemaking as I used to be. Although I've tested this thing to death, the non-linear style of the cave means that there could well be ways of skipping, glitching or tricking around certain parts. If you have any issues with the cave, please report it to me. Thanks! Enjoy! User Rating: (Log in to rate)9 out of 10 Amazing! 4 votes | Difficulty Rating: (Log in to rate) |

You don't knock them down using Hannah directly. | | Isa |

It is impossible to knock down using Hannah only. | | jebby |

You're going to have to find something else to knock them down with then, aren't you? Use the map generator - it really helps... | | krotomo |

9.5/10 Amazing! I beat it! It's cool how you can beat it with or without the water, even if that was unintentional. lol But the overall puzzle here is pretty good and like so many other puzzle caves this week I had to use the map generator to beat it, but that's not really a bad thing.
these types of caves are very satisfying to beat. | | jebby |

Thanks for the rate.
I think a walkthrough is very much in order as it seems that quite a few people have played this and haven't progressed enough to be able to give feedback. I'm eagerly awaiting the opinions of the veterans - whether it's good or bad... | | Sefro |

I've played this cave for a solid fifteen minutes, I think, and have gotten relatively far. Then I kept dying trying to hit that damn underwater arrow crate, so I took a break. I shall return to it, though. With a vengeance! | | Livio |

Maybe the name should have been 2084, because thats probably a better estimate of when I will finish it (without help). I got to the top and after several tries managed to do the speed trap with the boulder, but now I am just as stuck as before.

8.5/10 Great Done!
So that was an enjoyable cave; it kept me hooked long enough to beat it, anyway. The best part of this cave, in my opinion, was that it was all over the place. I really love it when backtracking is used, y'see, and so jumping from one part of the cave to other to solve the puzzles was great.
However, there were some annoying bits as well. The jump you have to make at the right side of the map (from the boulder to the terrain) can be a bit too tricky to pull off since that's the maximum distance Hannah can jump and you're screwed if you miss. I want to complain about the secret area to the left of the cave because I was stumped trying to figure out how to get to the last few treasures, but I guess it's my fault for not noticing it on the map generator. Still, a normal passage would have been nice, or if you used terrain 4 or something... Bah, nevermind.
But those things aside, it was a great cave and, again, the fact that it all ties together compliments the work you put into designing it. And even though I absolutely despise red herrings, especially when they're used in HatPC levels, the ones here weren't too bad. (Especially since it's possible with the water).

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad the loopiness of the cave satisfies you. I've amended the two areas that you disliked - hopefully making the cave a tad more playable.
I'm still looking for more feedback! | | dabigkid |

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I did look at this cave. But I didn't get very far in it... man I suck with these caves. I'll look at it again later, maybe? I dunno. I have work starting at 7:30 AM tomorrow, and I'm doing things later today, so I don't have much time >_< | | jebby |

Come on, this can do better than two votes - if Awesome Cave 3000 can get three, this one can (not that there's any competition between anyone ). I'm looking at isa, quirvy and shos here...
This reminds me very much of pretty much every cave I've made: scrounging and begging for more recognition for my creation and the effort I put into it. I think Quirvy has experienced this same frustration. Oh, for a bigger community...

I agree with Livio, the cave seems cool, but I can't really figure it out and the walkthrough is too fast to help me.

You're right, Jell, it is about a Big Brother government that manipulates the media to an even more profound degree than the Nazis - it's a good story, but it always depresses me when I read it.
Thanks very much for the rate, shos - according to Livio, it can be beaten by water.
I'm uploading a normal speed walkthrough for those who were confused by the 'entertaining' one. | | jebby |

I think it's good, and deserves the 5, that vid. livio, why not upload YOUR walkthrgouh for this cave, with the water?
I think it's a cool idea, possibly, to have caves beaten in different ways, while not meant to be multiple-ways-caves. i usually debug my caves to prevent cheating or doing anything unplanned, but other caves...
