Description:
Voilà! The most puzzling of all my caves, but hopefully not so much that it snaps your brains. If you can complete it, I will be very impressed. If you can complete it with the Gem, then... you're just crazy. (Best you try to complete it normally first, though).

Up on dandote!

I couldn't beat it, but I think I did most of the steps right seperately, but If you have to do what I think you do then it will take long time to play through and I'm not very good at the pawkeet section so I'll give it a break for now. The design is great though with pieces that

I'm with H, on having figured out the cave, but not really having made an attempt at beating the whole thing yet. I've been staring at the gem too.
Spoiler:

This is a really cool cave, lol. The "neat-factor" is pretty high. There are a couple of jumps though, that really aren't necessary. Like, the part where you're jumping on these boulders with the wooden crates, and you have to avoid hitting the crates, and the jumps are far, and then after, there's more far jumps, and you have to do them a couple times each, and if you fall, there's more chances to hit the wooden crates. Really tricky. And there are some rooms I literally screamed in fear as I approached them. The pawkeets didn't turn out to be as bad as I thought they were going to be, but they were still very tricky. I died on the speed trap at the bottom a few times, as well, from mistimed jumps. The dynamite crate, the puzzle in the upper-right, both speed traps with the ladders, all way trickier than I'm used to seeing from you.
Spoiler:

I noticed a potential bug, where you can duck-jump into a metal crate on a platform and get by without destroying the metal crate, but since you need the boulder up where the arrow that destroys the metal crate is, I don't know why you would bother. I may adjust the rating and the difficulty if I decide to attempt to beat the whole thing, when I'll have a better picture of what it'd be like to attempt that. And there's no way to get the heart, right? Is there a need for that secret area to the left of the door? I don't remember ever needing to use it.

Also Dando, you lied to me. See if you can figure out how.

-- EDIT:
Spoiler:
[/spoiler] Here's my suggestion, and I THINK it'll work, but I suggest you test it first. Codes don't work in spoilers, so anybody reading this who hasn't been reading the spoilers, should probably not look at it too closely.

Please do not read this if you aren't CSD, or if you don't want to figure the cave out on your own.

Also, I don't know how I lied to you.
You said you'd use my cavemaker, but then you didn't.

So, should I have Hypercam on when I play it from now on? I wouldn't expect my play to be particularly amazing, but I could try for a video. Should I use the original or my edit? If I use my edit, I won't have to beat the cave twice to show it all.

Hurray for CSD!

Oh, and that bit where you jump from the ladder to hit the wooden crate... It never actually crossed my mind to do it like that. I always just inch to the top of the ladder and then move slightly to the right, and voilà. I can see how the way you were doing it would be annoying, though.

And sorry, I was just too used to the ol' CaveMaker. I couldn't change.  =(

Not even for 100 undos?

Lol, it's that easy? Why do I suck so bad?

Anyway, the video is recorded. Any ideas for a song around 10:27? For reasons undisclosed to those who haven't been reading the spoilers, I may be convenient to split the song into two around the 6-minute mark (so, 6:00, and 4:27, give or take about 5 seconds).

Is there any easy way to do the jump between two spikes on the middle ladder easily?

If you inch up very slowly and carefully, you can move to the other ladder segment without having to jump at all.

EDIT:  Oh, that part. Uh, don't jump between the ladders. Jump up the platform, hit the wooden crate, and then run off left on to the other ladder segment.

EDIT EDIT:  Aw, sorry CSD.

What? The middle ladder? Just, climb down to the bottom, low enough that you don't get killed by the enemy and high enough that you don't hit the spike, and then just go left... Unless you mean the left ladder (EDIT: You did), in which case you should jump up to the platform? The hardest are two enemies in the first section, I think.

EDIT: I typed that up really fast, hoping that somebody else'd be the one to get posted on top of, for once.
