A new Sefro level?!?

I hate to be the guy who doesn't normally play levels and except for special person, but I'll have to play this soon.

You don't need to I don't think. This is a very awesome concept if it is what I think it is. I'm having a lot of fun playing, but don't have any more time until tomorrow now .

I really liked this. Props to you for making this, the way that you made it I have attempted before but it seems to fit really perfectly for this level. Nice work. Not going to spoil the secret though managed to beat it. now for the gem!

Woah, I'm really surprised and I'd never expect anything like this by a normal night like the one today. And I hate my timezone (sorry Isa). ;p
So yeah, I guess I've just got plans for the entire day today, and I couldn't make my 1500th post in a better situation.

Wow, that was fast. Good job soccer! Glad you liked it.

The gem is really tricky. Here’s a minor hint:

Spoiler:

Also, a general note:  the best way to activate a crate suspended above a spike (so there isn't a chance of dying) is to crawl as far under it as you can and then stand up.

I was very close to the end of the level but died just before the last treasure, and I hope I can actually rate it now. That's just a genius level, what else would you want from a HATPC level? Sefro, great job on creating this and thanks for all the fun I could have with this cave, I'm such sad I'm after almost all of this, but I'm happy the gem still isn't revealed to me (although I know how to get the heart crate, but it's more an additional challenge rather than something really tricky).

You can just think like this - the level we all see on this page is just a collection of HATPC tiles placed particularly in specific places, and all of them make this level. Now it seems everyone can make a cave even 10 times better than this (I believe it's still possible since the possibilities of creating HATPC traps didn't end <yet>), but in real, it's a really rare ability to be able to think of so complicated combinations of creating HATPC traps in cavemaker, and it's great we can enjoy your levels because it's not hard for you to think of possibilities like this and the HATPC world isn't limited for you. I can't wait for the next possibilities of traps and combinations you or someone else might reveal to us, but the true is that we still might not know about a lot of them (this and your other caves are a great example) and we are able to handle level codes with such interesting level design, but the thing is that someone must make them at first, and now someone must be just really, really creative, and very logical in one time.

I'm glad you have such great abilities and I could try your new level with such new and original traps. I make caves from time to time as well, but when I make them, I'd never be able to think of such things just after looking into the empty, not-yet filled in tiles of the cavemaker window. I happen to think of some more short unordinary traps at times, but I'd never think of making such a coherent whole of HATPC possibilities with original and unique traps in it that You've shown us in this cave. Congratulations, and I hope no one blames me for rating this 10/10, but the true is, would you be able to easily make a better level than this? Is something wrong with this level? What else do you need? Heh, in my opinion it actually happens to not look well visually in some moments and the preview isn't as great as for some other levels, but I'm going to actually leave it this time and let's say that nothing's wrong with this.

I was trying to search for a way to get the gem, but I'm seeing no way to do this. I'll still try to beat it with at least a heart crate for now, but after this, I can't wait to explore the mysterious mystery of the gem. And I had no problems with the crate suspended above a spike, I just ran into it and stopped when I hit it - never died. I actually have also beaten the leftmost part with that "evil" part in a quite strange way, I hope I didn't cheat it unless it's really so strange when beating, heh. The title is wonderful for me as well, Parallax is one of my favourite and most interesting occurences, I'm happy you could implement it in so cool way into this level, it sometimes really disturbed me and the traps are really cleverly made with the usage of this phenomenon. Splendid!

Again, thanks for making this and I hope I can solve this and enjoy this even more. Excellent job!

Alright, managed to beat it. I knew I'm able to make a short trip for the heart crate, but it was too risky IMO so I decided not to risk and go to the door. Then I read the tip... Awww, it seems it's going to be a very interesting night.

Edit: I just noticed a very important thing in the level preview on this page. It's so easy to miss while it actually makes me sure that I have the chances to get the gem. Got to play!

Thanks for playing Teo! That's quite the write-up; I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it so much. And it sounds like you're well on your way to solving the mysterious mystery.

Heh, I think I've just analysed every possible possibilities to get to the gem or at least hit the gem crate down, and I can't find any way to do it, which makes me more worried about my own cavemaking possibilities and even more curious about the solution because it must be something really genius, or I'm just dumb at times. =p I managed to beat it again but this time... yeah, and I didn't go for the gem...

...maybe I can count on one more tip, please?

The gem has a pretty old-school difficulty level, lots of tricky maneuvers. Here's one:

Anyway, it's hard, but possible!

Heheh, after quickly reading soccerboy's tip, I understood everything and started feeling stupid for missing such things, blah. Thanks for tips. Wonderful cave. And I already knew about the trick in the spoiler before you posted this because I accidentally found it out when testing certain parts of this cave, but it's good you made me sure it's needed for taking the gem. ;d And props with karma for the last spoiler. ;D

I think I do have to comment because I am also one of the HATPC players here. I like how it's made but I do agree to Teo that it doesn't look good visually. I like the new traps like the monkeys, 1st, 2nd and 3rd and also the 4th. In the monkey path, after going to it and finishing some traps where you hit the crate and the left arrow goes down, I don't know what to do next. I died on the boulder path because of some unnecessary spikes, really! I'm not Teo and Soccerboy to finish this so quickly but I really like the unique traps but not all of them are unique because I've seen some concepts similar to other traps.

I don't want to rate at this time because I didn't go that far yet. Some parts are annoying especially the unnecessary spikes.

It's good to be back.

This cave is apparently the best thing since sliced bread, but the time I played it a little bit, I only got as far as the trap before the 3 boulders fall and you have to run down the platforms. I was really excited because that looked like a cool trap, but then I died before I could try it out, because I jumped up to the ladder too fast and the dynamite blew me up.

I am truly a shoestring

Gonna get schizophrenia with this cave tonight. The gem is so well hidden, the way to get it still must be really tricky.

It's a pretty hard cave, harder than I usually go for. A bit out of character, although for the most part I think I avoided 'hardness for the sake of hardness'.

Anyway, I haven’t said much about this cave. My intention wasn't really to keep the concept a secret – by the time I'd finished testing, I just didn't want anything more to do with it, lol. Now that it’s out of my head, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. The concept is that there are two paths that take you through the same parts of the cave, and you play it differently depending on which path you took.

I wanted the whole cave to be like that, but it's really time-consuming, so for the right half I just brought it back together. Tried to make up for it with a cool gem. As for it not looking good visually, be glad I got rid of the big ugly yin-yang symbol in the top-center.

Edit:  Also, first cave I made with CSD's cavemaker. I never knew how much I needed 100 undos.

Haha, I'd love to see that yin-yang symbol. ;d And wow, I'd never think THIS is the first cave you made with CSD's cavemaker. Now everything I can say is just huge props for making all these wonderful previous caves with much less comfort than you could achieve with this cavemaker.

As for my progress, I must say I still can't find the way to get to the gem. I hope I'm not some dumb and this is really something very tricky so I can defend myself about not being able to beat it.

Wow, this is a cool cave. Unfortunately I'm not good enough at HatPC anymore to be able to get even near the end, so it would be unfair for me to rate it.
