Disclaimer: FR2 is a terrible game.

Hooray! My first attempt at a serious FR2 level! I have been working on this level since August 18th 2013 (gratuitous breaks included), but I haven't taken any since the new year. I think this is the largest FR2 level on the site, I didn't set out to do that, I just had an idea for a level and wanted to do it. I also think this is unlike most levels on here in the fact that it is a blob only level. Part of why I never attempted to do something like this was I did not have the patience/coordination to make a legitimate level that could be done with something precise like a bike. No worries, with the blob, all you have to worry about is bombs and glitches (will discuss later). Even using a simple vehicle like the blob, I still am not very good at making typical FR2 things like loops and big jumps, so a lot of the level is jumping over gaps and awkwardly climbing over stuff, lol. I try to throw in some more traditional things occasionally, but I don't think I could make a level entirely made of them.

I think most of you guys will be fine, but I figure I better say this level contains some depictions of cartoonish gore and or horror imagery that may/may not disturb you. You'd be amazed how hard it is to do anything remotely scary with this game. Few more follow up points in my traditional first post.

I realize the chances of anyone taking time to play this level all the way through are small. Basically, there are 3 main paths in the level and a couple small things do do. Two of the big paths give you the option to go straight on ahead to the final path in case you're sick of the level. You will know if you took one of these paths if you end up close to the beginning of the level. You can loop back around and do the other paths by hitting the down gravity on the "stabilizer" and going left back to the "Blob Containment Deck". You may be able to figure that out on your own, but I figure I should mention it.

Glitches: I somewhat despise FR2 now. I totally encourage you to use FR3 unless you really want to make a non-BMX/MTN Bike level. There are three glitches that may show up, but I tried really hard to make them not. One is if you hit an area with a lot of lines in a small area or something, you'll disappear and go back to your last checkpoint. I tried to eliminate most instances of this. Another is if you're traveling through a narrow area quickly and hit a flat surface, you may turn invisible. This can be fixed by hitting a wall hard, a boost, a gravity, or a checkpoint usually (one part of the level may encourage you to do this). Another is similar to the first except you're sent all the way back to the beginning of the level, this one is much rarer, but also much more unpredictable all I can do is apologize if it happens to you.

Also areas with lots of lines may cause lag, I tried to avoid making it too severe in most places, if you are in a laggy place though, uhh it'll be over soon and enjoy the art, I guess. FR2's checkpoints are about as useful as Amberial Axis's. Where AA's are more of just goals than checkpoints, if you respawn at a checkpoint in FR2, the number of stars you've collected gets reset. Isn't that great!? I want to hug who thought of that.

This level borrows a lot of stuff from movies, television, books, etc. Not much of a broad reference field considering my tastes, but you may catch a few. There are even 4-5 Interguild references in there. Mad props if you spot all of them. I also throw my ******* hat at Soccerboy. His level "Heaven And Livio's House" inspired me to make this. At first I was like "wait, is FR2 just an excuse to draw **** and call it a level?", and then I thought, "wait, I can do that! And I sent him about 50 various PMs throughout the course of making the level, usually complaining about some aspect of the game, most of which he kindly responded to. Thanks!

Anything else... anything else... oh, in case you can't tell for the setting, I tried to combine the secrecy of Area 51 with the incompetence of Aperture Science, and yes ending that the level has was the first one that came to me, lol. Enjoy!

The walkthrough will be a whole different enchilada. As much as my FR2 skills increased while making the level, I strongly doubt I'd be able to do it without messing up. Especially with potential for annoying glitches.

I would of course edit out any deaths and such, but then all the goals would be reset, and then I'd have to cut off the star counter in the hypercam window, and that's just a series of annoying things that I don't feel like putting up with for the near future. Not to mention if that all goes well, the level is still pretty long so I can't just squeeze in recording attempts during my free time like I can with HATPC, I'll need to set aside a few hours for this beast.

Man, this thing is gigantic. I tried playing it for a while, but I didn't get far before the lag and glitches got a bit tedious for me, so I scanned through it instead. It reminded me of that one xkcd comic. I can't say much about the gameplay, but the concept is cool and it's fun to look at. Random stair illusions, excessively detailed fans, teh shos, twisted depravity. It seemed pretty hard but I'm also really bad at FR2. Kudos for being ambitious, anyway. Good luck with the walkthrough.

Based on the walkthrough. I'm not really sure how to rate it. It's hard and a seems pretty tedious, but it deserves a high mark for sheer effort and imagination. Lots of funny and cool concepts and details. Tastes like crab, talks like people.
