THE TIME HAS FINALLY COME. WE ARE NOT BEST OF 2010.
Let's get right to it and kill all suspense by revealing the point totals:
1st Place: Gregory's Last Hope, 116 points
2nd Place: , 111 points
3rd Place: Team Ahoy! Womby Sharks!, 86 points
Honorable Mention: Isa, 7 points
This was very close between GLH and incognito, but the Womby Sharks were never really near the top. If I were to point to one thing that I think cost the IO, it's definitely their lack of a legitimate Skyscraper comp entry. Had they gotten one in, chances are that at worst they'd get third place, which would have given them enough points to win.
So, what is the big twist of the IO? Was it shos winning the minecraft comp? Well that would have been close, but actually it's this:
2 Weeks of II's
1st: Like a Shos - II - shos
2nd: Terraformer 2 - Quirvy
3rd: Change in Perspective II - soccerboy13542
4th: 2 Lines - 5 Minutes - canadianstickdeath
5th: Mystery Meat II - Jorster
To quote one of the judges: "Surprisingly, Shos's level is somehow the least cruelly timed level of the top 3."
The Collab Comp
1st: 10 - :incogntio:
2nd: Obfuscating Stupidity - Team Ahoy! Womby Sharks!
3rd: HOPE - Gregory's Last Hope
Open Caving Comp
1st: Platformer - Quirvy
2nd: Hannah's in Space [Ms] Space Food - soccerboy13542
3rd: Wyoming - Flashmarsh
"No Ladders, No Platforms" Comp
1st: Terraformer - Quirvy
2nd: Return - krotomo
3rd: Cave In II - soccerboy13542
4th: A Bit of Everything - buboy24
5th: Into The Cave - sup_mus
20x20 Comp
1st: Poquito - Xyteran
2nd: Yaya's Little Monster - Yaya
3rd: 400 Pieces - Quirvy
4th: A Surpisingly Linear Level - soccerboy13542
5th: The Liar of the Shark - shos
6th: Speed and Patience - Yuggy

Two thoughts directed towards soccer:
1. Less fiddler
2. Less names that are really long (like "Hannah's in Space MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM space food", "A Surpisingly Linear Level (the extraordinharrystylish one direction level)" and "5 Minutes N I hate this game... no seriously. I very much dislike this game")

I personally don't have a problem with Fiddler. It doesn't work on Ubuntu, but then again neither does HatPC. But we did run into some problems when it turned out Fiddler didn't work with Harumbai. So that is something you need to be careful about.

You may not mind it but most people aren't too excited about playing hatpc right now, so add on that you need to do that fiddler stuff and more and more people are not going to try to play it.
Oh, and I'd also like to thank the judges, as they did their job fairly well. It took a while to get the results out, but it didn't look like you guys were procrastinating.
Oh, and Darvince, too, for his sweet Statue of Gregory. Without that, all would have been for nothing...

Did you get Livio judge spots where Harumbai couldn't judge? I because when I saw this method you mentioned, I can't see how I got second in the 20x20 comp. Is that why you needed Livio?

Livio's only involvement was when he broke a tie between me and Isa in the 30 seconds comp. As you may have already read, Sefro also broke ties for 2 competitions (although he PMed the results to me, and didn't actually post in the judge forum).
Your 2012 IO Judgernauts:

Yeah, but that was more to do with my role in running the entire IO than the Judgernauts.

Fiddler doesn't work on me too Harumbai. I tried since Soccer likes uploader glitch but it's a na-ah.
It's good to be back. | | |
