Well, then make an effort to make it less confusing!  That's something I want to work on, personally.

The 1.7 will be released sometime within the next month.  Because the update introduces so many new terrain generation features we are going to add an extra 1500 blocks to the already 3000 block radius of the survival world border.  This will give us 2.25 times more terrain to be had than we currently do!  We also plan on waiting for some of the major plugins to be updated, like WE, WorldGuard, etc.  I just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

Nice, I'm feeling excited! It seems this is going to be one of the most significant updates for Minecraft, I'm curious about the things coming soon in this upgrade.

This update will mean lots of new exploring to do, I'm going to be having lots of fun with that! Also, is the Survival border being extended?

lol, I swore I put the word "survival" in that post somewhere.  I guess I didn't.  Yes, it's for the survival map, and the Overworld only.  We still have plenty of exploring to do in the Nether before we need more land.

Please don't make massive 100*100 redstone testing areas without making them into buildings, or at least not supremely ugly...

...or I will turn them into modern art.

Okay so I'm double posting for the first time in ever, to say this: I accidentally thawed all of Different and now the server is down.

EDIT: ok I won't admit this, instead keep shut even if it was a typo and ruined ice structures in spawn city.

EDIT 2: all damage from this action has been fixed, because it only affected spawn city and the area I was in.

Something seriously happened or someone is just joking with me. Today I saw some strange village on the dynamic map that (probably) wasn't there before because I often visited that desert nearby and I didn't see it before, hovewer there was no chest inside. Then I accidentally found myself in my old mines when I was digging a corridor in my new ones, and I made a connection. Decided to get out of the mines with the old exit near mymop and Thomas' house, and near the ladder and stairs there were some new ores that definitely weren't there before. Some of the ladders were placed on gold ores and the beginning corridors of the mines had new iron ores. After I climbed up, all of the stairs were flooded and water was pouring off from the wall near the entrance... I fixed it and not going to forget about the mines that also appeared out of nowhere in the place where the stairs change to ladder leading to lower heights of mines. What's going on?

New structures seem to be spawning... which includes dungeons... ores... abandoned mineshafts... and strongholds.

Oh, and villages and temples.

Wow, that's cool then. If this means that new diamonds appeared in my mines then gonna check it. ;d But still, that village didn't have the chest so it couldn't be fresh.

I had a look and there's no new village that I can see and a new one with a blacksmith would have a chest full of stuff for you. The one you found had no chest so somebody has already been there. But yeah there really is a tiny mineshaft in the entrance to your mine. So yesterday mymop and Bmw started the process of moving mymop's house since it was too close to mine and when everything was taken down, there was an empty field that didn't look natural. So Bmw used a WE command to make everything look natural again and it seems like WE went outside the selection a bit and into a few adjacent chunks and it decided to put a mineshaft in your mine. It looks like it did generate some new ores in the area too (and that was not part of the selection) so I guess those are yours to keep.

Thanks for explanations. Actually, I accidentally and pretty quickly managed to find a fresh village with a new chest in it just a while ago. I was curious if those borders of the map really form high cliffs like those so I came close to one and I just saw unexplored lands that weren't shown on the map, and the map showed I'm in black area. Screenshots in spoiler below.

Spoiler:

I'm also quite excited about the next Minecraft update, because it will have lots of new interesting things. If you didn't see it before, I highly recommend the Biome page on Minecraft Wiki, because it reveals a list of new, well-described biomes planned to be implemented in version 1.7. I was very nicely surprised when I found those informations, some of the new biomes look really beautiful and they are going to be very fun to explore.

Edit: A spawner has slipped in too, but didn't find any horse armor in chests, meh. ;d
Edit2: Wow, found a pyramid. 'Kay, all things safe with new horse, exploring time!

Aw man, Teo, you explored some of the unexplored western frontier, didn't you?

While there's nothing official preventing people from doing so, we're generally discouraged from exploring that area now, so that we can explore it once 1.7 comes out, and then some of the new biomes introduced in the update might generate there. I was going to explore that area a while ago but the 1.7 thing was explained to me by someone so I chose to head back east and explore a smaller area instead.

So I would like to just post to encourage people to not explore the unexplored areas in the West until the 1.7 update.

Yeah, there's nothing official preventing people from doing so, but I just wanted to check if those black areas are seriously black areas with cut lands and we already talked about that on Interserver so yeah everything's alright. At least this small chunk of terrain founded over 5 chests!

We can crop out unused areas in the update like other servers do. It takes more time but it leaves much more land to be explored in 1.7.

Way better than ChestShop:

http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/scs/

Also, in Creative, if you send a wolf or villager falling to its doom, you'll lose survival money... I was at $38 & now I'm at -$21. Lastly, you can't WE in block #36... why? It's really useful in building.

Lol, I'm [default] instead of a [Builder] again. Yesterday I still could log in and I was with mymop talking about the new constructions I'm building for my house and now I can't do anything on the server. Didn't touch Minecraft in this period, what happened?
(today at morning I accidentally turned on the computer when it was already turned on and I ended on doing some things on the OS to make it start again, does it have anything to do with the IP, maybe it got changed or something?)

...Huh? Someone generated all the unexplored lands in the Survival World! ;o I saw Intertester on the server yesterday
Edit: Just saw the server is now 1.64. Maybe someone loaded the lands with the new version because it was said to load important areas with 1.64 before switching to 1.7, but I doubt.

Nevermind.
