Coming up with hypotheticals is hard...
What if the interguild never left neopets

After Livio completed his work, Aeon became one of Neopet's many games, serving as a sequel to the critically acclaimed HatKC

Considering the state Neopets is in, things would probably not be going well for the IG. It would've been more difficult to come up with solutions to keep HATPC working, and venturing out into non-Neopets games would've been a no-no.
I assume at least some members would either have lost access to their accounts over the years, either cuz TNT is dumb with passwords, or occasionally freezes someone without reason.
Really the only bright sight is that the Thomas-Jorster-Darvince crap would've been much more manageable within the confines of Neopets
So for all the periods of "death" and revival the IG has experienced up to this point, I'm sure things would have been worse if the IG never left Neopets

was the interguild ever really part of neopets in the first place? i think even in 2007 most of us were on neopets only for hatpc. unless you mean if livio never created this website and the interguild never evolved beyond the alliance of four guilds. well in that case, approximately none of us would still be in contact with each other. also, at least one person would probably have not majored in computer science.

Quirvy: Aeon was conceived specifically to distance us from Neopets iirc. 0/10
Yaya: can't say I disagree with anything, but not very interesting. 5/10
arch bee: the entry itself is miniscule, and to be frank, not that interesting. 2/10
yaya wins.

Hmm... I feel like there's a lot of overlap between Hypothetical Questions and One Post rounds...
If you had to spend the rest of your life in a painting, which one would it be? Assume you'll have food and water regardless, so you won't be forced to die of starvation or dehydration

For several years I've had this painting of an Autumnal forest with birch trees in the foreground and more tree-covered hills in the back. It hangs directly in front of my desk, so I often find myself looking into it as a brief respite from mountains of work. I'm sure there are grander or finer paintings out there, but I've always really liked this one. Potato quality on my phone camera because my actual camera is broken.

What shame, I was hoping someone would go to bat for a surrealist work or perhaps Saturn Devouring His Son, but you all are practical people. Or maybe it's just this isn't a very good forum game, I mean, Binary Guy created it
'aych bee' said: Garden of Earthly Delights, left panel, on the other side of the river with the cute animals Definitely important to specify which panel. You even specified the part of the panel, namely close to the unicorn, but far away from the naked people 10/10

It's neat to know a painting you seek solace in a painting, and that it's not a famous one. However, autumn is my least favorite season don't @ me 5/10

If we were a crafter's guild like the Free masons people would actually have responded to your post because we would be more interested in answering such questions

If you could hack into a single member's account on the interguild, who would it be and why?

art
I know why I'd hack their accounts, that's obvious. The only decent reason would be to snoop in on their pms (you could also post and stuff but that's not really a decent reason), but I don't know who would have the most humorous pms. Maybe one of the clique? i cant imagine myself being in a good mood after looking through their pms, though.
honestly though i bet people have sent art joke pms and if they have thatd be really fun to look at
I really don't think I'd want to hack anybody's account, but if I had to choose I'd probably go with Teo because his engrish was funny

How well do you speak Polish, yimmy?
I would hack Quirvy for reasons that should be obvious to anyone with a brain. Barring that... Hmm... Bryan. I feel like there's something important in Bryan's PMs that I never had the opportunity to see, because I forgot his password and I can no longer reset it cuz yahoo deleted the email address I used to sign up for that account. In fact i even asked darvince if he still had the master list of interguild passwords just so I could log into Bryan. That did not happen.

hm I was hoping I'd get more responses, with more devious plans or something
'Yimmy' said: I know why I'd hack their accounts, that's obvious. The only decent reason would be to snoop in on their pms Well, that and staff forum access, and staff power access in general.

'HB' said: I would hack Quirvy for reasons that should be obvious to anyone with a brain. Barring that... Hmm... Bryan. You coulda expanded. I mean obvious staff powers, but you know I'm not the only staff member around. As for Bryan, part of me doesn't like this because it doesn't feel very interesting, but then part of me likes the tragic story and simple desire to regain a lost account. 7/10
Where's all the fun stuff? Nobody wants to hack Thomas to see what crazy PM exchanges he was involved in? Nobody wants to hack Livio to gain control of the site, or just see his PM feed? Nobody wants to hack into D52 or InterBot or some other novelty account?
Also anybody remember that one time Moderators found a way to snoop in on PM conversations, and there was a power struggle for access to the d52 account that was made more challenging by this? Those were the days...
Anyways aych bee wins.

Imagine that it is the year 1970, and most of the members of the Interguild are young American men of enlistment age (in fact, literally just subtract 47 from everybody's birth years). Who would answer the call of duty and leave for the muddy jungles of Vietnam, returning five years later as a changed man? Who would dodge the draft by fleeing to Canada? Which youngster would lie about his age to serve his country? What would YOU do if you were conscripted?

Ah, see, we already did a practice like this in history class one time in 8th grade. Based on my Birthday, I wouldn't have been drafted, so I'd be sipping cola and wishing HatPC existed yet.
IDK about the others but I'd guess Livio would be one of those people protesting regardless of whether or not he was drafted. Sniper would answer the call of duty. Yimmy would try to lie about his age to serve his country but it wouldn't work and he'd still just be serving newspapers.

Props to Quirvy for giving exactly the kind of response I was looking for. I do have a few points that I'd like to add though:
- Yaya would be protesting against the war up until the day he is drafted, but as soon as his squadron crossed the Pacific Ocean he'd become one of the most bloodthirsty maniacs that the jungles of Vietnam have ever seen. He'd shoot down guerrilla fighters like they were NPCs in a video game and generally have no concern for human life. Probably even his superiors would be terrified of him. Once his tour of duty ends, he'd go around telling everybody that the US won the war and, more importantly, that he helped them. (eta: he'd become the living embodiment of the Navy Seal copypasta)
- Bmwsu would bribe his family doctor into writing a letter that gives him the all-clear to enlist even though his health isn't up to par. After suffering a nervous breakdown, he'd go MIA and never be heard of again.
- Soccer would try to be as optimistic as possible, given the circumstances, because he wants to go to college via the GI Bill. Secretly he'd cry to himself every night in the barracks when he thinks everybody else is already asleep.
- imtimi would 100% flee to Canada under a fake name.
Quirvy wins.

Angry that Livio has gone an largely ignored the Interguild, you have summoned a demon, who will allow you to set a curse upon Livio. In what way do you curse Livio to appease your petty anger?

his soul is forever on the interguild's server (not minecraft). The only way he can contact the outside world is by posting or editing the interguild's code.
