Neat video. I was wondering why it was so long beforehand since I didn't recall the level looking too big, but the multiple attempts and commentary made it more interesting than a straightforward walkthrough of it probably would have been. I'm guessing since your keyboard is audible during the video, that you were commentating as you played the level? That's pretty impressive. I mean, I know what Let's Plays are and everything, but HATPC often requires high amounts of focus/skill in short bursts, so it was cool to get vocally guided through them.

Yep, it was live commentary. Live commentary is nice when you're explaining something in a game, because you can gesture at things as you talk about them. It was the same way for my changelog video, except for the last part where I cut in footage of myself playing Evil Twin. There are really 3 possible ways to do VO - live, post, or scripted. Live is generally the fastest to make, but ends up being longer in finished form because you end up stumbling over your words and meandering a bit (unless you're really good at it). If I wasn't doing live commentary, I'd probably do scripted but that would take a lot longer to make.

what took you so long to get it on the IG? it's been on YT for a while

It was up on the IG on the same day as it was on YouTube IIRC. Although it may have taken a few hours before an admin accepted it.
