Tell us about your new years resolutions for 2019. My resolution is that I will start ignoring anybody who tries to force me to study computer science.

I'd like to work on my time management a bit. I've been able to manage class/assignments and athletics and the wiki and a social life and sleep and other assorted things reasonably well this semester, but I've had basically no time for video games and TV and reading for pleasure, which is a bit draining. And I still want to do more things next semester, I haven't done any volunteering and I've barely played any music, but I definitely can't start doing those things without cutting down on something else.
I'm pretty sure that this "something else" is going to have to be the amount of time I waste on Reddit and similar websites, or just idle downtime in general. If I can stack my classes on two or three days next semester instead of spreading them out over the course of the day/week, I'll have larger blocks of time to sit down and get stuff done, as opposed to 30 minutes here and there which never feel quite long enough to do much of anything. And if I can stop staring at Reddit for however long every evening, I'll get a bit more sleep, and perhaps that'll make me more productive.

I'd like for the band I'm in to play a show (keeping it realistic with just one for now). I thought most underground/DIY venues would be pretty chill about getting booked, but apparently not. It seems like getting booked has a lot in common with applying for jobs-- expect lots of no reponses. Of course, this has not helped me refrain from getting paranoid about a.) the quality of our music (I know it's pretty bad, but it can't be *that* bad, right?) and b.) I'm doing something wrong in regards to the booking process (if anyone would manage to screw it up, it'd be me)
Also some various & important personal life stuff but blah blah blah that's unlikely, the Earth's dying anyway
COMING SOON: A giant meteor. Please.

I want to cut back on meat. I won't become completely vegetarian, as I simply love meat too much and it is also very inconvenient for others of I always refuse to eat meat, but I can definitely reduce my meat intake.
I will start January completely vegetarian, then I aim to eat meat only once per week or on special occasions.
