If you haven't heard of Mario Paint before, it's a really old game that was originally made for the SNES, and while it's supposed to be a drawing/animation program, it's really best known for its music generator feature. You don't have to download an SNES emulator to play with it, however. You can just download Mario Paint Composer, which is a popular remake of the program. Click here for some examples of what people have been making with Mario Paint.
I believe this game was submitted by krotomo. If you decide to start playing around with this, you'll most likely be sharing your creations through video. If you need help getting started, I've found a good series of video tutorials here, and these tutorials even cover how to get started with recording and stuff:
