In case you haven't noticed, the Interguild doesn't handle long FR2 levels well. I'm not sure if it's because the level code box displays the code in a single long line, or the sheer size of the text messes everything up. The only frame of reference I can point to is Soccerboy's FR2 level, Into The Cave. An average computer that tries to highlight or copy the code will get some bad lag and the tab you do it in may become non responsive.

I bring this up because I am on the verge of completing a large FR2 level, and I think its effect will be much worse/I'm not even sure if I can upload it to the site, lol. As a point of comparison, Soccerboy's Into The Cave level code fills 12 pages in Microsoft Word, as of now my level fills 89 pages and I still have about 5% left to make in it I'd say. Out of morbid curiosity I tried to see how the site would handle me simply pasting the level code into the box on the Level Upload page, and instead of just 1 tab becoming non responsive, it makes any Interguild tab I have up go non responsive, and I'm not even sure if the whole code can fit in the box.

I am bring this up before the level is finished because I hope a good solution can be reached by the time I'm done. The only ones that have occurred to me are uploading it to a 3rd party FR2 community like Trackmill (which I'm not sure if it still works) or other sites and giving a link, or uploading the notepad file with the code in it to Mediafire or something and giving a link. Thoughts? No, I didn't go out of my way to make a massive, site-breaking, FR2 level on purpose. I sort of understand now why HATPC has a size limit, I thought no size limit in FR2 was a plus, but I realized the consequences too late.

Link to a Pastebin? Smoother than a file upload.

Excellent, that seems like it'd work. I kept thinking there was some site that specialized in that, but could only think of Mediafire and Dropbox, neither of which do. Thanks. I still expect to be swiftly excommunicated, though.
