You only need Malwarebytes and possibly AVG, Spybot and TDSSKiller. They are all freeware and won't need licenses, so you won't have to worry about anything expiring. I don't think you need anything other than either AVG or Malwarebytes running at any time you aren't scanning. I think it is also possible for these programs to set it up so they won't automatically update and run a full scan every ten minutes. Uninstall everything else.
If you get Firefox with the NoScript add-on and you are careful about what you download, you won't really have to worry about anything anyway. It is difficult to get used to browsing without any Flash or Javascript applications starting automatically, but if you are a security freak it is essential.

Or you could just get Ubuntu.

I suggest avast! instead of AVG. I had AVG earlier and it caused my computer to slow down a lot. avast! hasn't caused me nearly as many problems.

I have avast! installed, and it actually works great. The rest is junk antispyware, this stuff outdates fast.

Sorry for the double post, but I imagine it's been discovered that in the code below, you can get into that arrow's shaft by duckjumping? (was just playing a level and ran into this, wanted to make sure)
Code:
'
terrain 1
background 1
water clear
xxxxxxx
x xxxx
x > x
x xxxx
x x
x# mDx

Yes, it was discovered just before/after I became a member on the old Interguild, I think, haha. It's doable with a regular wooden crate as well.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure everything's been discovered in HAPTC (except the Tutorial 6 gem, kidding), but just wanted to make sure, lol.

Out of curiosity, what was our last glitch discovery in hatpc?

Lol, I remember that. I considered it the most overrated glitch ever, because I thought it got an obscene amount of attention, and it wasn't as easy and useful as it was passed off to be. Plus Livio spent tons of time on a video for it which wasn't bad but wasn't worth the long wait if I remember correctly.

But, I know that I found the zero G disable glitch more recently than the water drain.

It might not have been really useful (was if you were using the zero G glitch) but at least there wasn't a huge deal about it like the water drain glitch. No "zero G disable glitch" video with great expectations. I did make a small cave to show it in action, but that was about it.

So I guess it was basically like the water drain glitch except without all the hype surrounding it, and that there wasn't a different way to stop to the zero G glitch (there's a way to stop water taps called bottomless pits)

From there on what else is there?

The various methods of Shockwave errors?

No wait, I know - pushing three boulders at once. Only Ckjr has used it in a cave and he didn't hype it up, so I suppose that might be it, unless someone knew of this earlier than 2010?

Looking at this list, I think the last glitch that has been discovered was the Zero G Removal thing.

I knew about 3-boulders at once since I made The Shaft. I noticed two boulders falling together in Jebby's Guess the Cave, and never got around to figuring out how that worked and what I could do with it until I made that level. The Shaft was made in 2009.

EDIT
I mentioned this in the topic: "interesting thing, you CAN use the double-boulder pushing trick on this, where the top boulder is actually two boulders rolling together, but it requires a little bit more good timing than the usual two-boulders trick, 'cause if you push the bottom boulder to early, the third boulder just falls to the bottom and kills you"

If you didn't see, today in the chatbox, Quirvy and I briefly mentioned caves' file names in the cavemaker. He said Locked Out is "trapped" and I said Get To Da Choppa is "Aardvark". Anyone else have wonky file names?

Only three I have on this computer: "blarghh.txt" (Cause and Effect), "tea.txt" (GSoT, was drinking tea at the time), and "ysgsfg.txt" (There And Back Again).

900th post!

On this computer all I have is SoDR(snowflake of doom reborn) and trapped(Locked Out)

I usually have a decent idea of what I'm making before I make it. Locked out was like that, the idea being that after getting the only treasure in the cave, your path to the door is blocked, and you have to do all this other stuff before you can gain access to the door again. So I called it, "Trapped" initially(and that's still the level's actual name in the text file), as in you're trapped in the cave, until I uploaded it and decided that it wasn't a cool enough name, so I went with LockedOut instead, as in, you're locked out from the world. Although, actually looking back at it, wouldn't it make more sense for it to be locked in, since you're locked in a cave? Whatever, locked out sounds better.

Yeah, besides GTDC, I aptly saved Sweating Bullets as "awesome speed cave". I guess the 50 or so tiles I made before saving it looked promising, lol. That's it in my messed up cavemaker.

collabcave4.txt is Oscillations
collab.txt is Team3Collab
mariolevel.txt for The Mushroom Kingdom
santa.txt for Clausic Expedition
monstercave.txt for Stress Test (lol I have no idea what I was thinking)

I also have an ldII.txt for some checkpoint of Quirvy's Lethal Defense II.

Funky file names you got there guys.

This isn't a cave, but about KS levels. Remember my Illusion levels? And mentions of a level called "Cat"? I decided to merge the two levels. It's going good so far. (Who wants a demo?)

Does anyone know how often having explosions on borderless edges of your cave will cause shockwave errors? I unintentionally put a dynamite chain on the left side of my borderless cave in the start. I never noticed it since I received no errors, but I don't want it to happen to someone playing the level.

I think left side is the one that's alright? That, and top side works.

And Yaya, I know I'm coming off as whiny, but what happened to Full Marks?
