Grab whatever device you listen your music on, put it on shuffle and post the first five songs that you hear. Then the next poster has to rate on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest how much he thinks those songs suit the above poster.
So let's say poster x posts:
Elvis Presley - A Little Less Conversation
The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby
Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven
Ram Jam - Black Betty
The Monkeys - I'm a Believer
Now, poster y assumed poster x listened mostly to Hiphop, so he would rate it a 3/10 and post his five songs.
umm....
song of the humpbacks-ocean odessy (why the hell what that there?)
michael buble-come fly with me
chris brown-forever
kayne west-stronger
linkin park-in the end
I'm using my list of songs right now that charts a ~5-6 on a scale from 1-11, where 1 is the softest rock songs ever (Here Comes The Sun, Happy Together) and 11 is...well, fans of this kind of music look down on death metal.
What do you mean??? I put my iPod on shuffle and I got these songs, all of which are quite good. I didn't choose them, and for some reason I got three muse songs, when I have forty Muse songs and 320 total songs.
The world is spinning too fast
I'm buying Nike lead shoes
To keep my self tethered
to the days I'm trying to lose
My mama said "Slow down,
must make your own shoes"
Start dancing to the music
In a Gorillaz happy mood

Here you go!
Get the cool - get the cool shoeshine*4
There's a monkey in the jungle
Who (something something something)
Caught up in a conflict
Between his brain and his tail
And it's time for elimination
Then we got nothing to lose
Please repeat the message,
It's the music that we choose!

Can you feel your heart burning?
Can you feel the struggle within?
The fear within me is beyond anything your soul can make, you cannot kill me in a way that matters
