Tips for round winners:

If you don't have a great idea when you learn that it is your turn, don't just make a round that you don't even think is good. Try to think to come up with a good idea for a round, and then if you can't, then make a round that you don't even think is good.

Also you're encouraged to start the round in this format: "You have one post to [what you have one post to do goes here]"

Additionally don't end the round early. Rounds should be at least close to a day long. If you started the round at night, you can't end it tomorrow morning. If you started it in the morning, you shouldn't end it before you go to bed.

Interrounds:
The people running rounds are ideally supposed to judge approximately 24 hours after they start the round, but from now on if they haven't judged after 30 hours (6 hours late) then anyone is allowed to start a round between rounds, like the guess when Livio will start the next round, guess how many dogs shos has, ect.

You're also allowed to do this if the round has been judged within 30 hours, but the next guy hasn't started their round within 12 hours of the other round being judged.

The catch is of course that the round could end at any time, because these rounds last until the current round is judged and the next round begins.
You may judge rounds however you'd like, but at the end of the round there can only be one winner.

These rounds will be marked as ".5"s in the previous rounds and winners

Compare and contrast the executive and congressional plans of Reconstruction as to: Constitutional authority, role of the freedmen, treatment of Southern whites, and political considerations. How would you assess the accomplishments of this time period based on the circumstances from 1877-1897?

This is not confusing. It just requires in-depth knowledge of postbellum American history. 0.5/10

man I really want to research this and write like a 2 page essay just to act all smart but that's a lot of work. I also feel like I should have at least some idea what you're saying from my history book because I see a lot of history buzzwords. Sort of boring, though 7/10

The code for water taps will be much more complicated than that. That's just the code for local water levels. It's a recursive script that calls itself for tiles to either side and below it, as well as above it if it's not at the top layer of the water.

when observing your local surroundings and nature, you most likely perceive it vibrantly, living and flowing like the winds. however we must never forget that in our community there are people that may not share your ability to experience the world through all the various lenses you have at your disposal. for example, in our community we have jellsprout, never may he be forgotten, who experiences fewer colours than others on the interguild.

with this in mind i propose that we now aim to explore the world as often as possible in fewer colours than usually available to us, as a reminder that we have certain privileges not shared by everyone.

wearing sunglasses is an entry level experience here, whereas some advanced "decolorizers", as i fondly call our small gang of believers and supporters, have tried out the world in sepia.

Fundamentally, the question that we ask ourselves every day is, "How likely is it that the story for Half-Life 2 Episode 3 will be any good, after 10 years?" My personal reply to this has typically been something along the lines of, "I don't know, but if you keep hyping it up, you're going to be disappointed when it's released." You can sleep easy tonight, though, because we finally have a real answer!

Now, for context, the plotline of this game was leaked a few days ago by a former Valve employee, and since I'm extremely lazy I haven't bothered to read it. However, since the internet has not completely destroyed itself in No Man Sky levels of overhyped rage (times 100!), it is highly logical to assume that the story for Episode 3 was perfect in every regard imaginable. After all, if it were not so, we would be seeing a lot more angry nerd riots—but the streets seem clear: thus, it must be fantastically-written.

As such, I believe it fitting to drop any preconceived notions about "overhyping" games that I used to have. Yeah, yeah, we've had a few less-than-stellar releases in the past, but obviously the not-terribleness of Episode 3, which has been hyped to the extreme in the past decade, is enough to totally wipe the slate clean. Thus, since we can ignore previous overhyped titles, and the only remaining example has been good, the data indicates that creating gigantic levels of hype for a game is an extremely healthy activity prior to its release.

To prove my point, I have created an elaborate chart detailing the analysis undergone for this post. It is impossible to deny the implication the data makes. Therefore, obviously, if we all agree to hype games up to unbelievable levels, the games will certainly end up being of the utmost quality and fun.
