I know, and I don't think it'll be good because of it being released on 3DS. Had it been Wii U only, that might have been something, but I don't think it's possible to release a good smash game for 3DS.

I don't see how the 3DS could ruin Smash Bros. Isn't it all about the gameplay in the end? It's not like the 3DS would inherently change that.

The 3DS controls won't allow a great Smash game, is what I'm saying.

The 3DS has this motion pad thingy, right? Then a Smash game would work.
I also expect it to be more like Mario Tennis for the GBC and Mario Tennis 64, where you can link the two to exchange characters and information. I don't think both the U and 3DS will get the exact same game. That would be a massive waste of both platforms' potential.

I really hope they'll differ somehow.

It looks like GC controls won't be an option after all. Apparently the U will only support input from the Wii controllers.

It's still compatible with all Wii controllers, so classic should definitely work.

But this is still disappointing.
