ShareThisAlso on Wednesday, jebby felt the need to come clean about Bribe and Massacre and about how bad his hugely popular HATPC level really is.
The Cav[e]y Comp ends next week, and so far two entries have been submitted: CorruptedCaverns by Orcasaur and Live in a Cave by Teo_pl.
On Thursday, the More Topics >> button was finally fixed!
Instead of linking you to the forum index, it links you too an "all topics" page, ordered by last post date, so that you can easily find any unread topics.For those of you unfamiliar with the running joke, the More Topics >> button (located on the top right of the page in the Recent Posts and Comments box) was first added sometime last summer because I wanted some kind of indicator that would tell users if they still had unread posts aside from what was in the box. I got Haily to code that button, and I didn't feel like making a page that'll continue the list of the recent topics box (which is what most people would expect), so I made it link to the Forum Index. Quirvy reacted by claiming that the More Topics >> button was glitched and had to be fixed, and thus was the running joke.
On Friday, a new member joined named Lester, and he is one of Evan's classmates from Singapore.
On Saturday, Shos started a very popular Nostalgia topic, where we rummaged through the old forums looking for funny moments. Quirvy has also been running lose on the old forums, resetting everyone's points to something like -1x10^40. This resulted in a few members, such as Haily and Fungus, to show up for a while because of email notifications for PMs on the old forums. And today, Quirvy has somewhat mysteriously become an admin on the old forums...
Speaking of the old forums, I'm not sure what we're gonna do with the topics that were brought over to this site (as I explained last week). I'm thinking of just moving the whole forums over, mainly because we can. I dunno, comment on this idea and tell me if you think it's worth it.
Today, a new Facebook Group was created for Interguild.org. Join, and tell all your friends to join too.
Also, at the time of this writing, the Run-Off polls for the Best of 2009 awards only have a few hours left. Vote now, if you haven't. I know I still have to vote.... But I also hear that the results look pretty much decided already.

Not because of the effort, just because of how terrible some of our posts are. I was just scrolling through some of the old conversations; I almost threw up my posts were so bad... I could delete everything and run the script again, but I feel unsafe doing that for some reason... Or maybe I just ought to send it all to a new board, and deleting the old ones if it goes well. But we really need to get these transition boards out already. | |

I think that we should move all of these boards to the old forums, and then move them back, just for the hell of it. But personally, I vote for deleting everything and re-running the script. spooky secret | |
