Hey yeah, we should've been giving out awards for those posts of the week. I like the idea of being able to go to someone's lookup and seeing an award for each time they've won post/fail/dud of the week and being linked to the appropriate weekly update. The only problem is that those awards might really add up over time... | |

How about an award called "Incognito"? For this award, you have to remain hidden for at least 6 hours, but stay online. For this to be an actual award, staff members would have to have the ability to 'recognize' people incognito, meaning they have to know who's online or not (unless of course they already have that power). @Kooler I approve of the idea for awarding people for the post of the week but I don't support awards for dud of the week or fail of the week. "The idea of the Karma system is to encourage our users to make better and more thought out posts." Awarding people for minus karma is working backwards and dud of the week is nothing special. Instead of one boring "Post of the Week" award, it would be cool to have a custom made award for each week with a screenshot of the post in the background of the image or something and it would link to the post. | |

That's a cool idea. I agree with the fact that minus karma should not be rewarded. Imagine if [redacted]. That would be awfull. I also agree that dud of the week is nothing to be proud of either.
