The last weekly update was two Tuesdays ago on the 18th. During that week, I made a lot of progress with Aeon. Several glitches have been fixed, and I've moved on to starting the Level Editor, for which I created a new topic for discussing its design. However, after that week, I've been kept offline by a ton of school-related stuff, mainly high school graduation and college orientation.

On Wednesday the 19th, CSD released his guide for HATPC Level Three.

Last Tuesday the 25th, a new member joined called imtimi, and he's pretty experienced with HATPC.

Lots of great videos have been posted. Harumbai posted the walkthroughs for Pangaea and Yaya's Sweating Bullets. Krotomo posted walkthroughs for his SMF levels Half Way Castle and Snowy Challenge, both of which display kro's ridiculous playing skills. And just a while ago, goldfun posted Red Remover walkthroughs for Haunted and imtimi's Slide and Elevators.

But more importantly, a ton of amazing levels were posted. My favorites include Bound, a HATPC level by goldfun; In The Sky, an SMF level by Jazz; Slides and Elevators a Red Remover level by imtimi; and Haunted another Red Remover level by goldfun. I didn't even get a chance to try all of the new levels yet. Goldfun released a ton of caves, including SpikeyPride III: Adrenaline Spikes ( spikey pride series is awesome ). I've only just lightly tried Nebula, and some of the caves in his new Primate Series, which is already up to its fourth installment. Also, imtimi released a new HATPC level, but he deleted it after a while, saying that it was in need of a revamp. I tried it, however, and it wasn't bad.

I think it was yesterday, or the day before, that I added an option to the member list that lets you look at a list of staff members. I noticed that a_neezles_a was in the staff, and some time after neezles was mysteriously removed from the staff... Other small updates include the addition of an About the Interguild page to the site. I've been requesting feedback on it too. I've also begun working on that blog idea. It shouldn't take too long to implement.

I had quite a hard time selecting this week's featured content with all the cool stuff that's been uploaded lately. But it was through this that I got a great idea on how to improve not just the Featured Content, but the rest of the homepage. Basically, right now the featured content only changes once a week and every single slot is changed with a different piece of content. But I think it would be best to update the featured content several times a week, adding interesting things as soon as they happen. And instead of changing everything in the box, it would only push down the previously featured content. There would also be a list under the box, preferably replacing the Newest Levels and Newest Videos section, and it would list all of the previous featured content that was pushed down, only the images would be smaller, and it wouldn't be inside a javascript box. This would lead to the site looking like it's updated more, and it would end the tradition of posting each week's featured content at the end of the weekly update.

big news! the annoying Games tab in the navigation menu has been made slightly less annoying by adding a bit of spacing between the scrollbar and the roll-out region. Also, it's been expanded vertically so that HATPC is not just barely out of reach. You may have to Ctrl+F5 in order to refresh the css styles to see the changes, though.
