A HatKC comp? Whoa, never thought of that... I think I'll enter, although I think I need to make a seperate cave first though, because I've never made a HatKC level before. I'm not gonna post the level when I make it, 'cuz it'll be all nooby and all.

I think I'm gonna need to familiarize myself with the level editor first before I make the comp level.

EDIT: Actually screw that. I will not make a screwy level for a screwy game like that. Now screw you and go away.

The only good thing that I can think that we got from this game was that it shows us what it would be like to need to duck under spikes.

So what do you guys think: Needing to duck under spikes a good thing or a bad thing?

Possible areas for bias:

HatPC and HatIC are far better games than HatKC, thus ducking under spikes might come off as a BAD IDEA
In HatKC ducking makes you run faster, thus ducking under spikes might come off as a GOOD IDEA

I didn't play the game long enough to duck under spikes, and I wans't too interested in the user levels so....

what if we had two spikes in Aeon? one would force you to duck, while the other wouldn't.

It would be hard to tell the difference, Livio, so it wouldn't make for a very fun game. I'd die all the time from being to careless to tell the difference.

Ducking spikes aren't a bad idea. They could fall under the "spike" class (remember, we were talking about classes of tiles?) and just be a lot shorter. It'd work like a charm, I think.

As long as we have the option of making spikes that does not kill when standing under them, I am fine.
