ShareThisTowards the start of this week, not much happened actually. Most of it is a blur to me, but it's definitely not Oktoberfest's fault. (Seriously look around. Nothing happened)
By request of Guyguy, Livio made a chatbox-friendly version of the DIE smiley. I personally think the image is kinda garbage because of how small it is, the largeness made it cooler. In order to celebrate this downsizing, I shall spam it for a couple sentences.
Speaking of garbage, the HATKC comp results were released this week! You can see Quirvy's blunt opinions of the whopping three (YES THREE!) contestants here.
If you didn't notice, the ranking skipped 3rd place and gave "HATKC FTL" 4th because CSD's original level was very bad. Three hours and eleven minutes after the results were posted, CSD claimed that he messed up his entry, and exactly six hours and six minutes later, CSD fixed the level. After nearly a half day, full of some fierce debating from Jell (you may wish to remove my permissions from the judging boards (again)), it was decided that he could move up to 3rd place. Unfortunately, this shift left CSD with 22 fourth place trophies and 1 third place trophy, arguably making him one of the most consistently mediocre level makers of all time, until he had all but the third place trophy removed from his possession
In the middle of the week, Soccerboy declared his passion for hockey, instead of soccer, thus changing his name to Hockeyboy(random string of numbers). Probably due to his raging hormones, (I don't know his age), this love was short lasting, and you'll now see him as the regular Soccerboy13542.
Harumbai also talked of wanting to give up his life as a pirate, and become an upper class snob, know as Hawinebai. He temporarily followed through with this, until he probably realized that peg legs are pretty hard to remove.
Neezles accounts banned this week include:
Julius Neezle, hockeyboy13542, Hawinebai, Augustus Neezle, Nezletron, lsa, LlVlO, girlgirlxtreme, canadianstikcdeath, Iza, Ayay, Isabelle, Cedric_08_, and Samuel. None of these attempts scored well with Quirvy.
Also, the members Guyguy, Rainalonto and Nebnebben, Evil534 and Greenworld have been engaging in a "I'm gonna be an immature shmuck and see how much I can lower my friends karma" battle. It was getting annoying, but I think Isa has brought an end to it. For now....

Tie at second place. Harumbai's bold prediction, had 6 karma at one point, so it wins the tie breaker.

Levels
Krotomo and Soccerboy made some Smf levels. Krotomo's was a continuation of his own Smf Levels set, it was pretty cool. Soccerboy surrogatishly posted a level that his friend made, and it was met with less then desirable ratings. On the other hand, he also made a hold-right Smf DDA (acronyms up the wazoo) which was kinda cool except for the "running into walls until a platform moves you trick" that was used a lot.
Some of our newer members, mainly the ones mentioned early, have made some some decent Smf and Hatpc levels throughout the week, getting a feel of both games.
Cedric_09_ made a sequel to a Hatpc level of his I don't even remember. People enjoyed it, but it didn't really have any traps (there maybe be another sequel though!)

That was mainly the dull, 1st half of the week...
And about yesterday, people realized that the 1st trap of Dando's acclaimed level, There And Back Again, has been made slightly harder, thus resulting in some frustration.
5 Minutes- 1 Paragraph
The All Game Comp #7: 5 Minutes - 1 Level was started yesterday (the other half of the week). So far several bould attempts have been made to steal the spotlight in this competition (8 entries and counting). If you do see Guyguy online, please bouldly shout COMBO BREAKER at him, thank you.

Silver made her 1st Interguild-Related comic this week, taking on a significantly different animation style than Goldfun (G4). Videos
2 new videos were released this week: Krotomo's Mario Level 1 and Guyguy beating his cave Metal Madness (one D).
In Krotomo's attempt to release a silient version of his walkthrough, something happened. The X Files Bunch or the Fringe Division were too expensive to call in, so we're having Jell look into it. It has resulted in conspiracies from cryogenicallly frozen spam accounts buried beneath Catplanet, to Dando52, supreme ruler of the Interguild, simply whispering an unknown order into Quirvy's ear.
10/10/10!
Today is October 10th, 2010 (even in Europe). Go out and do something 10 related, and you'll probably succeed.

BTW, yaya, click link, right next to quote, to get the post's direct link. I noticed that you for the most part just linked to the page or a nearby post. Also, I think I agree with you about the smilie. With the  and  smilies, you can distinguish what they are, but the smilie is too dark and small. For it to be used to its full potential, it probably needs to be used at it's normal size.  spooky secret | |
