That is where I disagree with the site, because I most certainly did select the competition.

I think that responsibility falls upon someone who has access to the judge forum, so that they can talk about how the judges ended up with the finals results.
Are we not going to talk about how the judges ended up with these final results?

this is not a good sign.

Things that I thought would beat me didn't and things I thought I would beat ended up beating me. I guess that's what happens when you get the middle spot.

I did think it was funny that the people in our team finished:
1st place, last place, 2nd to last place, 3rd to last place.

Still waiting to hear judges opinions on stuff if there were any.

Shos is right. If Ahoy! Womby Sharks! goes out of their way to perform mediocrely, we go out of our way to mediocrely en masse.

Oh, darn. After seeing my cave featured on the front page, I was too optimistic about how it would fare against the others. Oh well! Great job, winners! (especially Soccerboy )

Specially for Quirvy, here is what I thought about the levels:

'jellsprout' said:
1. Isa - Loved this level. The trap in the bottom right (with the metal crate falling down on top of a chest after the crawl area) might have been too tightly timed, and the spikes got very annoying after a while, but other than that it was a great level.
2. Quirvy - Great level, but perhaps a bit too easy.
3. Bmwsu - Nicely timed. Probably seems more difficult than it actually is.
4. Soccerboy - That third to last trap was a bit too evil. And what kind of NASA super computer does Soccerboy have to beat this level in 22 seconds?
5. shos - Surprisingly for Shos, this was actually one of the easiest levels this competition. I had to think for a bit, but overall it wasn't too challenging.
6. Yaya - Nothing too challenging. It had me restart a couple of times, but nothing more, really.
7. Xyteran - The right part has some very evil bits. Especially the initial drop. But other than that, it isn't really too special.
8. Yuggy - Had some nice concepts, but it wasn't too difficult and that last trap was far too tightly timed.
9. Jorster - Pretty basic level. The timing was decent, though a bit lax and the difficulty wasn't too high.
10. Sniper - The timing was pretty poor towards the end and the rest of the cave wasn't too special either.
11. Darvince - This level takes about 30 seconds to figure out, so at least he stuck to the theme.

1. Quirvy - Best design in my opinion, Nice cave.
2. Soccer - Spiral, Quite fun, well balanced traps.
3. Isa - For Shoestring, Never could collect the 3rd treasure though and beat the level other than once chance time. Liked it, but the difficulty in that trap and the next one I found too much.
4. Bmwsu - ytrihT, Difficult, but rewarding.
5. Shos - Sharks, Enjoyable, but very easy. Maybe I did it wrong, but it could have been a little more challenging I thought.
6. Yaya - GGBCCSP, Moderately interesting, but too easy IMO. Also there weren't all that many traps in general
7. Jorster - Beloved the Lost, Quite short, but the traps were timed well and kept succinct.
8. Xyteran - Thurdee, there are 2 really difficult bits which seem unnecessary, I like the fact that there was a puzzle, but I would have liked some more speed.
9. Yuggy - Speed and Patience, I liked the second trap as it was a bit different, but the last trap was just too hard.
10. Snipe - In God We Trust, Not much to it, fooled me the first time, but I beat it the second, I'm looking for more substance than this.
11. Darvince - Free Candy, I just didn't find this very engaging. Beat on my first try.

Upcoming HatPC level: Sanctuary, coming soon to an internet browser near you...
