For some reason this was never uploaded onto the archive...

Anyways, my only major complaint about this is that it seems too slow.

I thought the cave was awesome. And the music? Spectacular. One of my new favorites. What's it called?

-.5 for the slowness.

Cracking cave. If only death metal/screamo musicians didn't scream in their music, I'd quite enjoy it. That's why I generally only listen to instrumentals...

You listen to instrumentals too? That's cool - what kind of instrumentals? Classical, or "modern" songs?

Jebs, you get used to it. After a while you don't mind if its singing, screaming, grunting, rapping, heavily disorted electronic voices or Danish. You will listing mainly to the guitars and drums anyway. The vocals are just an extra instrument.
These weren't death metal, or any related style, by the way.

To answer Isa's question, I like all kinds of instrumentals, but in that particular post I was referring to rock instrumentals. I think the voice can be a very effective instrument, but I think that 95% of all bands make an absolute hash of it. Especially screamo bands.

In response to Jell, I know that that song wasn't really anything to do with death metal, but the various screaming and grunting reminds me of such music. There are so many sub-par metal genres that aren't even worth farting at that I generally bunch them altogether into one super-genre, the name of which I can't repeat. I don't think that any songs that involve screaming, roaring, singing in a 'monster' voice or pig squealing should be allowed to be called music - 'noise pollution' would be a better term to use.

I enjoy most heavy/thrash metal though, but as soon as the singer starts yelling, the song is no longer worthy of going on my MP3 player. All a matter of preference.

Symphonic Power Metal is the thing for you. It will do you good.

Could you recommend me some artists? I only know of a few selected songs by artists such as Rush and...yeah. Most instrumentals are electronical today.

I strongly recommend bond (lowercase) to you. Very cool music.

Symphonic Metal and Power Metal are two different genres...
I suggest Sonata Arctica.

I find grunts and roars to be less annoying than the voices of Britney Spears or Beyonce. Or Bruce Dickinson. Once you start getting used to it, you will listen past it and listen to actual music, which is quite good.

Yeah, but then there's symphonic power metal like Epica. It's like saying that the genre Pop-Punk doesn't exist, because Pop and Punk are different genres.

Yet, it does. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pop_punk
