About time? I wasn't even planning on making a WT to this...
I'm hoping most of you understand the end part of the cave. Cuz that was the whole point of the cave.
For those who didn't get to ever read my post(s) on Midnight V from earlier, the entire point of the cave is to display a the glitch that fake crates work across lines. Which is why you had to destroy the platform on the other side of the cave. I mean, I wouldn't just make a cave this dull and boring(well, mainly just the boulder trap) because I can.
This was also the cave where I discovered the Zero G disable glitch.
But, yeah. Now CSD has another reason to sever my head

I know you weren't planning on making one becaues I remember asking you once. It just seems like a long time because you made MVI, MVII, 4am, Ascent II, Aquarius caves and MVI, Aquarius and Ascent II walkthroughs before this.

Actually, CSD made the Aquarius WT, which was the first reason for him wanting to sever my head.
Oh, and you're missing the Lake Placid walkthrough.
I guess it just needed a walkthrough, since it's part of the midnight series.
That also means that 4am and VII are coming soon. I just need to have CSD and Dando see if they can come up with a song for me to use before I go with the one Isa chose, and VII will be released. 4am, though... That might be a bit of a challenge. It'd be hard to do in multiple takes, because a good portion of it is in the water. The cave is beatable, though, so that means that I can just beat it in one try. The problem is, that hasn't happened yet.

Yeah, 4am is much more interesting than most of my caves. Probably the best in the midnight series, beating out the original Midnight because 4am kept the puzzles consistent, while in the original Midnight, the left half of the cave felt really out of place.
While 4am is probably the best of the series, MV might be the worst of the series, maybe about as bad as MIII(I dislike this one because it has a much different style than the other caves. Plus it has green terrain, and that's extremely unmidnighty)
The boulder trap was really too long, and on top of that, the actual puzzle wasn't even that hard. You could push the boulders down in about 50 different combinations.
The upper *action* part of the cave is really dull other than the first trap. It just seemed uninspired. Not to mention that failure of a trap I had at the very top. What was I thinking?
Also, because I didn't test the cave, the way that you collect the 3rd to last treasure is completely different from the way I wanted it.
So overall, I think it's worth somewhere around a 7/10, which is pretty bad by my standards, but several people have different rating systems. Accel would have the same stance on this cave and probably rate it a 5.5 or something.

I'm on dial-up for the summer, so I probably won't be able to watch it for a while. I just came to tell quirvy not to put html in video descriptions. The descriptions are inserted into the title text of video's link on the front page, and apparently those don't like having html inside of them. | | |
