Does that mean there were 69 takes? LOLOLOL. Ok, pretty good walkthrough. I thought the end was a tad unnessecery. Question: Why in both clips do you do a double take (ex: at 2:20) from my standpoint it almost looked like you were trying to complete the trap slower, but I just want to make sure.

Actually the last clip I have labeled is "Florida0070" but that's inaccurate because a few of the clips were not actually attempts. I think there are 67 clips in all.

By the end you mean the outtake walkthrough? It didn't look as good as it should have because of the double recording I had to do, but I liked the idea and initial result. I call it, "A day in the life of a shoelace"

For the second part of the video, I made a walkthrough out of failed clips by continuing the video after each death with the next clip, right before the mistake was made that caused the previous death. I didn't make this separate from the walkthrough, I made it after the walkthrough was done. Because my walkthrough was done in parts(otherwise this idea would have been really unworkable, there'd have been way too many clips to sift through as well as that the later clips would be 2 minutes long, and it'd only have 5 or so seconds left after editing), I don't have video clips of me dying after I successfully beat a part(actually, not true, at 3:35 I accidentally went into the next trap allowing), so to move onto the next part, I had to re-use successful takes and continue them on until I get to the next part, where I use failed clips to advance the cave. Would have looked much better if the video didn't speed up at some parts, but because I used so many clips, when I published the video in WMM, at some point each clip that hadn't been used before would just be black, so I had to lower the number of clips used (significantly) somehow

So to answer your question, it's because the parts from the walkthrough are re-used in the outtake walkthrough.

As for why I did the double take, it's because I was about to hit the ceiling, and and I continued going right, I would fall down the hole and lose, so I instinctively went left upon hitting the ceiling. I thought I wasn't going to make it in time, but I guess that because my traps are so USER FRIENDLY that I managed to beat the trap despite making a movement error while playing it.

That trap you're talking about was my favorite trap to design that I can remember, it's awesome and confusing looking, and I couldn't figure out how it worked and what I was supposed to do before I actually started playing it (had been a long time since I looked at that trap)

(BTW, I died a lot more on that trap than it showed in the outtake WT, I played the trap before filming so that I'd know what to do and to limit the number of deaths)

Additional stat, 43 video clips were used in the outtake walkthrough. I only beat one part on my first try, that was the treasure freefall trap. Steel Insanity remains better than this cave, IMO.

That must've been nuts trying to find where each clip was of how far you got. I imagine you didn't die in that order and magically beat in on the last time, lol. And I'm hoping that "user friendly" capitalization was not some dig at me , this might turn into a **** mound if so. Just sayin'.

This walkthrough reminded me of how much I liked this cave. Although when you got to the door, I looked at the seek bar and thought "what? the video's not even halfway done?" And so I felt like this video dragged on longer than it needed to. I laughed at your story of movie maker.

Actually WMM shows you how long each clip is so I went in order from shortest to longest clip each time. Plus each clip usually only lasts like 5-20 seconds. This is a speed cave after all.

Also, I just realized that by "the end" you mean the stuff after "interguild.org"

Yeah, that was as said in those facts that when I filmed the video preview, it came out shorter than it should have (some sections sped up) so as a result the song you gave me for the second part didn't fit exactly, but since I didn't want to spend even more time working on this, I just added that at the end which sort of explains why it's there anyways.

Actually that was more of a joke at isa who complained about the top trap being completely un-user friendly(he's right) and always talks about user friendliness. This cave is only user friendly for about half of the cave.

Although, you also complained about that treasure freefall, and that was the easiest part of the walkthrough!

Pretty good walkthrough. If I remember correctly, I think the farthest I got before giving up was the area just after the treasure drop (which was cool, by the way). Seven Nation Army is great but I hate Blink 182, so I guess they cancel each other out?

This cave had some nice designs, but yeah, I'd say it was too hard IMO. I also thought you seemed to be taking a dig at Yaya with that "my traps are user friendly" comment, which I thought was funny since half the video was of you dying, but I'm glad it was a joke, lol. I wouldn't consider this one of your friendlier caves, but it made for an interesting video. Any other old caves of yours that you plan on filming?

I don't think I have any more old caves left to film. I would do a bad cave marathon, but all of the bad old caves are probably either all gone or uploader glitched anyways.

Yeah, I thought it was odd that Yaya took some kind of offense at this, I felt targeted at once when I read it, haha.

All caves should aim to be 100% user friendly, save for at max 2 traps.

I wanted to both rate this, and add that although this was uberly funny(you suck at gameplay, lol XD), the outtakes were really too much I think; perhaps showing the deaths only or something would be better for the next time.. but in general I think bloopers are actually a good addition to videos. boy o boy, you'll have to wait for my dekuduke speedrun..
