This is how you make an elevator in Line Rider. It's called the elevator for only one reason. It makes you go up. It's actually really easy to do. Start with a foward accelerated line. Then add a normal line. You should have something like this:
Now, make a curve using an accelerated line. Zoom up to get a closer look. It also makes it much easier. Now, you should have something like this:
Here is where it gets harder: make one long vertical accelerated line connected to the curve. Make another accelerated line to the left of it. Except this time, hit the SHIFT key while you make the line.
Now you should have this:
You can add things to your elevator by making it longer. You can also start using the blue lines, not the accelerated ones. But make sure you don't make sharp turns like this:
By doing that the line rider charachter will make a sharp turn and crash. If you want to extend the elevator, do something more like this:
Now that you know how to make the elevator, you can start making tracks using them!

This would have looked a lot better with the old layout. Right now the dark layout makes this look like a chewed piece of gum. EDIT: well, not that bad. but you get the point | |

you mean pick the layout the guide loads onto? because you can already change your layout by going to your Account Settings | |
