Part of the Series: COTW Caves

[?] Karma: +1

Description:
Arrows, spikes, monsters, oh my! This cave tests your ability as a swashbuckling treasure hunter. Are you able to avoid the dangers that lie ahead, find the ancient pirates' hidden treasure, and escape... alive?

UPDATE 7/14/2010: I did, indeed, win Cave of the Week. That's depressing. I worked so hard to make this bad. Let's all celebrate!

Dimensions: 62x62 — Treasures: 21 — Water: None

This looks a bit hard for a COTW cave.

mhm. just make a sloppy cave, less traps, more big blocks of treasure and more free space to walk in, smaller less spikes easier overall, don't forget to make the traps badly timed if you make them, if you add water give many air pockets and about 3-5 tiles of space to swim. make many places where you have to hit an arrow to get through and here and there a secret area trap. an easy to find gem and use less room for the actual cave, more terrain.

Ugh, too hard? I worked so hard to make it easy, haha. I'll see what happens. I'll make some changes if I don't get it, maybe remake it.

level 18 is a great example of a COTW winning cave, other than the fail gem

Hey guys. I won Cave of the Week with this! I guess it wasn't too difficult after all.

So that's four in a row, none on the interguild account.

Wow, I saw that yesterday, and thought, "No way this was an interguilder, this doesn't look like the low quality that they are striving for."

And then I come on here today, to see that Dekudude is the winner?!?

Maybe you guys are going too easy on the poor Neopets staff, haha.

I don't really think it is too hard though. You just... go.

You know, I was thinking of getting an internship at Microsoft, but I'm not sure I want their lameness to rub off on me.
