That looks really awesome. Looking at the first picture, what exactly is this building standing on?

Lol, a WorldEdited flat plane, which will eventually have other office blocks on it.

No critique for my build  I want to get better - Kro, you give good critique? Look at TMG tower please?
Overall I think this looks awesome and there's not much to improve on. From an overall design standpoint, not taking into consideration things like putting an observation deck at the top or whatever, the only thing I might change is that I might make the top round out more gradually instead of suddenly coming to a halt and having a flat roof.

Also, it sits on a flat plane with nothing on it, which just looks unusual. While the building may look very cool, the area around it doesn't (although I don't have a great view of it from the photos I see)

Part of the reason you don't have a good view of the area is because it's ugly, lol. I always try to get the best shots of my
Builds. Also, the very top bit beneath the spire is a sort of observation deck, I guess.

You could still maybe build a roof over the observation deck that continues the tower or something. I can't really comment on whether or not it looks weird from ground perspectives because we only see one right by the tower.

Unless you wanna take up my suggestion, I really don't see much to improve from what I see and I would instead shift my focus on the area around it.

Rating? Also, thanks for the feedback. We'll eventually have a full video of the server up, but you guys will just have to wait for now.

This is just purely opinion on my part brought on by Quiry's mentioning of a flat plane. Creations are cool, but to me they're cooler when there's other creations and landmarks around them. Like the first MC server, that was the only one, so everything was connected to some extent it felt like it's own little world. But I think there are at least 4-5 servers existing among IG members. Are there any current plans to start making towns/connectivity or stuff on the IG server? I know you like to be in touch with your free-spiritness and independence FlashMarsh, but I feel like it's sorta a cop-out that you make all this crazy cool stuff, but none of it is on the actual IG server. NO OFFENSE NO OFFENSE NO OFFENSE

I feel like this is a stupid comment, but I don't here much about the server these days besides plugin debates and rescuing people. Maybe you guys are all secretly doing stuff on there, but there hasn't been any discussion/pictures about it lately? I'm kinda curious.

Actually, to be fair O never really explained my choice to make my own server. Expect the post tomorrow - I don't want to write it on an iPod.

It's hard to judge something just by looking at a few images, but I'll do the best I can.

This building was great.

You made the building look very new and modern, which is the most difficult thing for me to do. The way you placed the windows was great and the designs you made around the windows made them look very good. I don't know what the inside looked like, but I assume that it is not finished if you decided not to show it. I could only notice a few things that did not look so good. In the front part of the bottom section of the building, I noticed that one of the stone designs you put on the roof was 2 blocks thick. I'm not sure if this was on purpose, or if it was just for symmetry, but I didn't think it looked good. I also noticed that on the same part of the building, the stone designs hooked around the bottom of the roof, but on the sides the designs did not do that. The top of the roof, in the part before the spire, the area looked more like a diamond or octagonal shape than it did a circle. One again I'm not sure if it was supposed to look like that, but it doesn't fit in well with the rest of the building which is very curved and has a very few amount of corners. But over all, just like the rating says, this building was amazing. Maybe, when you are working on the area around the building, you could add a garden or some kind of outdoor area next to the building to make the building look even better.

The stone is actually iron blocks lol. The reason for them being two blocks thick was indeed symmetry. The interior is about 40% done, but it won't be as good because interior design is difficult due to how big blocks are in Minecraft.

2.5/5 — Normal
I guess this deserves a solid 9.2. I also think that this managed to achieve the perfect level of difficulty in minecraft, whatever that means.

Yeah, the original spawn city was pretty cool, but we haven't really seen anything much like it since. Maybe Olympic City can become the next big town. Even after the skyscraper comp is over, it would be neat if people would still work on it.

But I'm not so sure that it's a lack of towns being built as much as I think it's a lack of towns getting recognition on here. People on post pictures of their own creations; no one does so for towns because towns don't get their own levels. And we also haven't seen a tour of the server since the days when Livio was actually active. So we really don't have any clue what's going on. Maybe you guys should start making topics for settlements and towns and stuff like that, and post screenshots of the towns/settlements/whatever as they progress.

It would also be pretty sweet if someone else could do a narrated tour of the server like Livio did, but I doubt that will ever happen.
