Played some of this. Area's of concern:
1. The traps don't fit the terrain at all and as a result the cave looks both empty and ugly
2. No reason to start the cave with Hannah falling all the way down to earth. Unnecessary waste of time, annoying when you die and you have to wait even longer before you're allowed to do anything.
3. At first I didn't like the combination of the first 2 traps because I'd jump off the ladder automatically hit the arrow without trying, and then die because of the shockwave from one arrow to the other, but as it turns out that trap can still be beaten pretty consistently if you just have a little patience. The third trap, where you jump from ladder to ladder is horrendously evil because it's really easy to jump right past the ladder you're trying to get onto and as a result I can't get past that area.
Overall, though, not bad for a first cave. I like the backtracking.

templates are really hard, i can try to fix it
3.1 at first it was super loosely timed and that was the plan
3.2 I'll make it so there's only one jump
Fixing 1 would be alot of work. you're feedback is appreciated

In case you didn't know this, practically nobody ever makes caves based on templates. And when they do it's usually because the template looks like something, like the following:
For the most part, we tend to just build the terrain around our traps, or dig out empty space in terrain to build our traps in. Either way, using templates for which to build your cave around is not really what you should be doing for normal caves.

i know, it's more fun for me, i have to addapt to the terrain, of course next month i'll try to make another cave
my caves would be extremely linear and uncreative :/

I definitely agree with Quirvy with his first two things he mentioned and you should avoid doing them, but with the quoted one, don't be too harsh for yimmy! ;d I thought he made the first two ones that way intentionally and that's even quite cool to keep the balance and don't die by jumping into arrow crate, and the ladder trailblazer is actually pretty fun, using your reflexes to quickly after jumping off of the ladders always turn a tile back to catch the next ladder.
And yimmy, I might help you with the keyboard shortcuts for cavemaker. When you want to insert a tile, select the object from the list, select the area you want the tiles to insert into and then push the "insert" button on your keyboard. The same with deleting tiles. Select an area of tiles you want to delete and push the "delete" button to quickly delete them. I always keep my hand on those two buttons when I'm cavemaking and them it's relatively easy, fast, and cavemaking gets quite comfortable. | | Yimmy |
