From what I've gotten so far, I like it. The traps are precise like mine so I'm used to it and the cave looks inspired by some sort of things. I've seen some traps before in other caves but that's just fine. Well, I've been distracted and got few deads in this cave, probably the spikes, miscalculations and wrong key. I'll try to finish this but since there are water traps, I might not continue.


It's good to be back.

I've played a good portion of this cave for the time being, and I liked it. The traps contain the sense of inspiration and great job for making them easily beatable without looking at the map preview, that's the key to enjoyable design. (however, it's not always possible with all of the ideas we're adding to our caves, but it shouldn't be a pain if we see new and unique traps in the same time) I like your style, if I'd have to choose one that's the most similar to my one and one of the best looking, I'd select yours.

There were few flaws in the parts I was in, inter alia, floating spikes left after a trap or luck based trap when an arrow is flying from the top and you are standing on the tile next to the one that the arrow is going to destroy, we are usually just running all the time into the wall then to reduce the chances of the block destruction to hurt us, but it sometimes kills Hannah and it's unpredictable. (in those few seconds we can also just crawl a little into the wall and stay safe since we're far enough off the tile that's going to get destructed, but everyone usually just runs into the wall and hopes the destruction won't hurt him, but it's not too effective all the time)

I can't find any way I can go further after getting to this point. I think I've analysed all the possibilities in the previous traps but I still find myself stuck. Maybe you have misplaced a spike just like in Zigzagging Zone? Thanks for help in advance!

Thanks for the tip, I managed to get further with it, but I was a bit surprised we're supposed to think of something like this. In my opinion, the tutorial arrow didn't help, because it made me convinced I'm doing it the right way and it would probably be a long, long time until I'd get the point.

Now I'm further in the cave, but I'm stuck again and I didn't find any solution as well... I hope it's just a stupid oversight, but I'd be indeed grateful if you'd give me one little tip regarding this problem. http://oi40.tinypic.com/2ypdzpi.jpg

Meanwhile, I had occasion to beat all the traps leading to this point and there was a puzzle with two boulders lying on wooden crates in the air and a wooden dynamite crate lying on a wooden crate in the air. My destination was to get to a water crate. I spent lots, lots of time trying to find the solution and I even got to making the two boulders cause the other one to fall down through the terrain causing other strange things, but none of them helped. Then I just decided to do some random things and put the boulders in some random positions to see what happens, and in one moment I got it. (I set a checkpoint there just to find the solution and then do the level again with it) I see you found some interesting ways to make the traps unique and original and I agree, this trap is indeed original, I didn't see anyone using this attribute for creating traps. However, it wasn't too obvious that I'm supposed to think on this one thing or that another thing, so I'm curious if others would be able to find the solution quickly. Definitely an unusual and interesting trap, but because of its rareness and no particular tips on doing that, it wasn't that easy to enjoy its originality IMO.

It's all a bit unfortunate, and we can't have any impact on it, because such a cave would definitely get more attention 3-4 years ago and no one would say "I don't rate HATPC levels but play them: after getting about 15-20% of the way through and 30 minutes spent playing, I get a feeling of soul-crushing defeat". I remember playing The Metal Movement when it came out, and every day during my spare time, I was making more and more progress in it occasionally asking Isa for help to explore the originality and cuteness of the cave even though I was sometimes stuck in certain chambers. Some caves are more challenging, but they contain the potential that's usually wasted when no one wants to see it. It's just like The Pipe Dream would never get released and kro would just release it instead of this cave (not comparing those caves, of course). I guess half of the community would omit it and the other half wouldn't be too motivated to make any further progress in it, losing so much fun and amusement...

In spite of all, I think the creator should beat the official version of the cave at least once so that he makes sure it's all possible or it will be truly easy to waste the potential of a cave. And remember: if the cave is not easy for you, it's not going to be easier for anyone else. Thanks for the fixes!

Alright. I'm doing a full playthrough of the level right now to see if I can get rid of some issues, but so far I haven't found anything that would make the cave impossible or too hard. Thanks for posting all of these problems though, maybe I should've asked you to test the cave before I uploaded it.

By the way, cool thing with those tutorial arrows now; not only they make it easier, but they also leave only one of them and it shows you the correct way of pushing the boulder later in the level, and I was a little confused with that too, lol. Anyways, if I could propose one more fix, I'd modify this part a little bit:

When you're jumping out of water in the highlighted area while the trap is set off, the water is low enough to make it very luck based. Hannah doesn't always jump out of water high enough to get onto the terrain and (probably) only one failed jump is needed to fail the trap and have to commit suicide. However, it's still your decision what you're going to do about that.

I considered that, but I decided not to change it because I thought that failing there would only be a result of rushing that part of the cave. However, since you pointed it out, I think I'll change it.

I think that the way for making sure you make that jump is to stay still in the water and when Hannah flows up undulating on the water level then quickly before she flows down again, we need to jump to make the jump as high as it's possible. Still, that's quite accurate and I think some training would be needed to quickly do that kind of trap in time without any trouble. The same issue happens when a normal water level without any water taps is situated in that position, it's annoying as well. Thanks god for changing that, I just died 3 times in a row because of that thing.

Also, now this trap is also beatable when you break one of those two water crates which makes it even easier because the water is higher after doing that, and there's no chance for dying because of too low jumping out of the water. Not sure if this *cheatability* was possible before the changes.
