Description: This is supposed to be a crypt, tomb, call it what you like. All the screenshots were taken with night vision because there is no lighting. After all, why would a crypt have lights?
It started out after I visited the Kokomo Temple, and I felt bad because I'd made something for Kokomo but not for Catalina, my other cat. It was inspired by the ancient Nordic burial crypts in Skyrim, and at first I wanted it to be almost exactly the same as those, but later I decided to use sandstone as well as stone brick, so that it wouldn't be plain grey. It's also built to look like it's been abandoned for a while, so you will occasionally see collapsed pillars, cave-ins, etc. There are also "bodies" in the chests, which are supposed to be coffins. The bodies are bones, rotten flesh, and raw porkchops arranged to resemble the shape of a corpse. Also, when I started it, I wanted to build it by myself, but then atvelonis saw me building it and wanted to help out, so I let him. And I'm glad I did, because he gave me lots of cool ideas for it. Feel free to explore it, it's pretty big. Since there is no lighting, I recommend you use /letmesee for the night vision effect.

This is the entrance hall.

The great hall. It's larger than the entrance hall. It was atvelonis' idea.

Another view of the great hall, and one of the hallways leading to it.

Looking at the great hall from one of the staircases that leads to it.

One of the rooms with some coffins in it.

Another coffin room, with the only window in the entire crypt.
Spoiler:
Yet another burial room.
Spoiler:
I wanted to have a room that was larger and fancier than all the others. This is it.
This is cool. You definitely nailed the Skyrim feel. Especially from the outside, and in some of the ruined rooms. I do think it was a bit empty though, you could've at least had one draugr zombie wandering around. I'm pretty sure I explored everything.
Spoiler:
I also found the redstone room

Yes I closed the doors. How many secret rooms are there exactly, or is that a... secret? I did some /ascend and /descend to see various inaccessible parts like where a stream of water comes from, but there was nothing important back there.

This is really awesome. Has anyone done anything like this before? I imagine a good amount of effort had to be put into this, and it must not have been easy to make, with a layout that can be confusing in places because halls connect to each other in a non-linear fashion.
Good concept, good design, good implementation. Yaya said that it's a little too empty, and there were a couple rooms that you could put stuff in, but overall I was really impressed. The game of finding secret passages, although not too difficult (with the exception of 1 room), was really fun, and I think that added to an already good build was what brought it over the top for me. Adding to the challenge was the non-linear layout of the left side, and making sure that you don't accidentally back track into an area you already explored, or get lost. +1 A+ 10/10
I am pretty confident I found all of the secret entrances, or at least most common type. If you had a secret entrance though some other method, I did not find it. There was a good opportunity to have a hidden entrance in the anvil room, and I was kind of disappointed that you didn't think of it or do it.
Anyways discoveries are as follows:
Spoiler:
First room I went into, I found the secret room Yaya posted. At first I thought you should have placed it somewhere else, but as I went through the rest of the catacombs, I actually decided that I liked it's placement.
Second thing I found was the secret cave escape. There was no sign here, but it was a hidden room so I figured I'd post it, too.
Then while trying to track down the result of some redstone I triggered, I wandered into this open room, which someone forgot to close. I soon after stumbled upon the trigger, and shut it.
The above 2 are from the same secret area. I thought that was the redstone room Yaya was talking about, because of the torch, but I later found the actual redstone room (redstone not pictured):
"Wow, Etho would be ashamed of this monstrous wiring"
And then finally, I went back to an area where I triggered redstone activity before to see if I could figure out what was going on. I thought it was just faulty wiring, because nothing looked visibly changed after I triggered the event, but I eventually figured it out. Very subtle, very easy to miss. This also traps you in a very small room that you can't get out of.

I didn't actually build this with a clear layout in mind; I mostly made it up as I went along. I like building things that way. It's way more fun, and sometimes more of a challenge, than building knowing exactly where you're going to put every block.

Etho is a Youtuber who does a Minecraft LP series. I learned a lot about redstone from him. I admit, I really failed on the wiring for that room.
