Ever been reminded of an old topic that was really epic, but you just couldn't find it? Well, now we hope to end this problem by providing a list of successful/notable topic links that you can use to go back to the old days!

Only talk in smileys! - A short lived, but entertaining, topic in which all posters were meant to post only using smilies (Feb 21-22, 2009)

INFORMATION ON THE NEW POINTS SYSTEM - InterBot giving out *information* on the karma system prior to it being released. (April 20-May 22, 2009)

hai guyz! rate my posts nagetive! - Soon after the release of the Karma System, Quirvy, through interbot, made this topic to allow users to negatively rate InterBot at will. InterBot would later show up, posting only "necropost." His post would be deleted, although he would make a second post which would not be deleted. (May 31, 2009-Jan 19, 2010)

D52 IS TAKING OVER - As a result of Livio being on temporary leave, Overlord(also known as Dando52 ) chooses to take control of the interguild (May 31-June 8, 2009)

Interguild Alert! CSD's Dignity Held Hostage! - In response to CSD claiming that he would leave because Quirvy did not want his secret account revealed to the public, Quirvy made an overly dramatic topic through InterBot, claiming that terrorists had stolen canadianstickdeath's dignity, demanding Quirvy's secret account be released to the public for the safe release of his dignity. This was meant to imply that CSD had lost his dignity by overreacting to Quirvy not wanting his secret account to be released to the public. CSD later came online and claimed that the terrorist had only stolen his lowercase letters.(June 14-15, 2009, Aug 7th, 2009)

The Interguild Cave of the Week! - The Interguild CotW topic, while generally short-lived, was a parody of Neopets' Cave of the Week, which featured levels of a low quality. (June 21-July 23, 2009)

Unicycles Only Competition Results - Jell, dissatisfied with the 4 entries, gives krotomo 5th place, and yaya 7th, in a competition with only 4 entries. In this other competition, Livio earned -2147483648th place and bmwsu 1334th place. (Sep 28, 2009)

DDA Comp Results - The results to the Don't Do Anything Comp, which had no results (Dec 3-6, 2009)

Ask Sprout - Though unlikely to ever disappear into irrelevance, the Ask Sprout topic was the first successful "Ask ___" topic. (Dec 4, 2009-Present)

GOING FOR RECORD - a_neezles_a(commandeered by Quirvy, with the permission of neezles) goes for the interguild record for longest amount of time spent online at once. (Dec 9-17, 2009)

Ask D52 - Dando52 provides low-quality answers to all of your questions, in Drew Rosenhaus style. (Jan 3-14, 2010)

2010 April Fools! - A last minute idea by Quirvy made the main April Fools day prank that everyone would be shown as Anonymous throughout the site, making it impossible to differentiate users, by anything other than their posting styles. (April 1st, 2010)

More "Fake" News Posts
Interguild Research Team Finds Odd Similarities (April 9, 2010)
April 16th Weekly Update Update[Note the double "Update"] (April 16, 2010)

Click Here! - This short-lived topic was based around a censor that would redirect users to this page. (April 16-19, 2010)

Ask Captain Obvious - Captain Obvious enjoyed a success topic in the random chat forum, but its magic came to an end when people stopped asking questions, as this is the way most "Ask ___" topics end... (May 5, 2010-Present)

Collaboration Competition Results - Dando releases competition results, Dando style... (May 16, 2010)

The Ask Rob Garrett - This thread holds the current record for lowest rated post/topic, at -14 for neezles' opening post. (June 16-19, 2010)

The Rob Garrett Ramblings Thread - Thanks to KarmaBot, every post on this thread has a karma of at least lower than -2. (June 17-19, 2010)

Who Should Neezles Marry? - When aych bee was [commandeered by] neezles, aych bee made an over-the-top topic asking who neezles should marry. Before anyone could post any facepalms, Dando answered with an epic one-liner for which she was awarded 8 karma for. Many other epic lines were made throughout the duration of the topic, before aych bee was banned for being neezles. (July 11-13, 2010)

IO Name Suggestions List - IO 2010 was divided into three teams, and their first task was to come up with team names. Here's a list of all the names suggested for each team. (July 22, 2010)

Okapis - This parody of another topic was made mainly in an attempt to boost activity. Despite only having 3 replies, it introduced one of the Interguild's most prominent symbols: The Okapi (February 7, 2011)

Guess the Never-Ending-Story Associated Word and Then Get to 5000 pts - Also in the category of mainly an attempt to boost activity, this hopeful topic is most notable for the fact that it has a really ridiculous name. (February 7, 2011)

ATTN: Livio - This topic served as a test to see how long it would take Livio to notice a topic which was attempting to gain his attention in its title. It took him 2 days. (February 14, 2011)

ABCs Game! - Originally intended to be part of the Neezles Takeover April Fools Day Prank, the forum game picked up momentum, before eventually dying, and then resuming before being locked. (April 1-15, July 17-22, August 9-20, 2011; January 16-20, 2012)

You have one post to... - This topic is perhaps the most successful forum game on the interguild (June 6, 2011-Present)

Thomas Ramble Thread - To counter being chatbox banned, Thomas made his own ramble thread, a reference to rob garrett's. While it may not be full of great material, it certainly had its moments, such as when Thomas began and ended a karma war with one post separating the marks. (June 7-July 18, 2011)

The Hangman Topic - This topic became the most popular interguild forum game, gaining over 1800 replies. Unfortunately it was not entirely well thought out. The actual content produced by the topic was very poor, and eventually it mysteriously disappeared. (July 23-December 25, 2011)

Last post wins! - The idea behind this forum game was that the last person to post before a 3 day period of activity would win. It managed to produce some activity, and remained popular until its end, when Kooler won by less than 2 hours. (August 3-September 9, 2011)

Sarcasm Thread - I think that the idea was that either you would reply to someone else' post in the topic, or you would say something sarcastic, and link the sarcastic part to the topic. (August 17-19, October 5-6, 2011)

I love you guys. - When imtimi first posted this, no one knew quite what to think of it. But when he made his second similar post in the topic, people decided that whatever it was, they liked it. (September 6-13, 2011; January 11-12, 2012)

DUD OF THE WEEK LAWL - This poorly thought out topic saught to become the fabled dud of the week for the weekly update. It instead ended up becoming fail of the week, earning -8 karma. It also suggested someone make a win of the week topic that, so that it could earn fail of the week. That topic went on to become the dud of the week. (October 18-21, 2011)

Random Poll - Jellsprout originally started this topic, but it didn't last incredibly long. Eventually it was commandeered by Quirvy in an attempt to further increase activity, and (August 20-December 10, 2009; January 22, 2012-Present)

If I missed any, I'll take suggestions. But this topic is supposed to apply mainly to the new interguild.;

I considered it, but I'm hesitant, because I have a feeling that most of the motivation for people posting on there was getting karma.

It's an interesting topic, though, so I'll still keep it in consideration, and possibly just end up putting those topics at the end of the blog post anyways.

Maybe we should get some kind of Interguild calendar. We could make it on Google Calendars and let anyone download it.

I just now added the topic where InterBot's "INFORMATION ON THE NEW POINTS SYSTEM TOPIC", and I previously had added the FR2 "Unicycles Only Competition Results" where Kroto and yaya managed to place lower than the number of entries allows.

If you add the Unicycle Comp Results, you might also add the DDA Comp Results. That one was just as memorable.

There's also this one comp where someone got -21474834somethingth place, and Bmwsu got 1334th place, with those two as the only entrants into the comp.

God, how could have I forgot the DDA comp? That one had the one-liner that got me my 100th karma...

I added it, and as for what Isa said, the link to that comp is in the unicycle comp results' description.

I also added the dates that the topics were active in.

Quirvy, I can understand that you remember posts that give you a lot of Karma, but remembering which posts gives you your 100th Karma is slightly over the top for me. Take a chill pill about Karma.

I figured it's been a few years since I updated this thing, so I decided to update it. I mostly went through the random chat forum looking for topics that seemed notable and interesting to look back upon, or popular forum games. It's too late right now for me to be able to look up all of the post of the weeks and stuff, and to be honest, the whole format I was going for with that probably won't even work anymore since we haven't had a weekly update since a few months.

New topics are Okapis and on

hey guys do you get a ddos prevention screen every time you try to access the interguild directly through the address bar. anyway it doesn't do that if you google Interguild and then click on a link or go to the interguild through a link on another site so I guess we finally know why old people often google a destination and then click on the link through the search page instead of using the address bar.

Ok well that's weird because I'm literally accessing this website through Firefox 3.6.24 on an ancient lab computer installed with Fedora 14 and it still showed me the DDOS screen. Maybe your IP is on some sort of whitelist.

I get the message most of the time on Chrome, but seemingly only if I don't already have the Interguild open in another tab.

I think the DDoS screen might be related to the interguild going down yesterday, possibly
