That's what happens when you manipulate numbers and charts to say whatever you want. From what I can see, they use a huge scale and set their origin somewhere near Hugo Chavez, so you shouldn't take it as a balanced source.

EDIT:
"supported the NDAA which effectively legalises martial law"
This made me laugh. Martial law is legal. It's just very unpopular and a surefire way to not get reelected unless declared for a valid reason.

This is my compass, based on the same scales:

Basically, that is exactly what we in Europe have been saying for years. The main reason the US politics are so utterly terrible is because they have managed to convince their population of a false dilemma between two parties that are only superficially different. Both parties are fairly conservative and fairly authoritarian. Normally a party like this isn't a problem, except in the US the people refuse to vote for anything else. They have successfully created a duopoly between two similar parties by convincing its population that no other sane choice exists. So there is no need for compromises or actual genuine politics. Just a tug-o-war between two evils. That is why the US has barely advanced since the Cold War.

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: 1.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.18

That's me. I'm not sure how accurate it is though. Many of the question, I answered one way but thought that the answer only applied to the very narrow question they asked.
If we ignore that, it looks like I'm more ore less a centrist.

I generally stay out of politics, but I decided to give it a go:

http://www.politicalcompass.org/facebook/pcgraphpng.php?ec=-3.38&soc=-1.49

So does that make me the third most moderate person on here, behind sniper and shos?

Sniper - why is it OK to assault someone repeatedly? Would it work in any other setting? Do you think there's any way for a child to learn the difference between right and wrong that does not involve spanking?

1. Spanking isn't assault.
2. Yes.
3. Yes, but there's no guarantee one way or the other. It's subjective.
