I remember that shos compared minecraft to SimCity, and that reminded me that I still had SimCity 4 on this computer, and earlier today I played it for a little while, continuing a region I had already started building up some time ago:

Spoiler:

I have doubt that I'll ever finish the entire region, though...
loljk I actually worked on it on and off the past week or so and just now finished it:

I've been playing the Battlefield 3 open beta.  At first I didn't like it too much, but once I got the hang of it and got to know the map, I started to really like it.  It's not that bad.

Is it better than Black Ops and do you think it'll be better than MW3? I'll probably be able to afford 1 video game this winter, and it'll be either MW3, Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3, or Uncharted 3 (why so many threes?). Right now, I'm leaning towards Uncharted 3.

I played the Uncharted 3 beta, and it was pretty good.  I haven't played enough of the Uncharted games (I've only played 2's campaign for about 6 hours, and no multiplayer.) to really say, but they are pretty awesome, and 3 was no exeption.  It takes a bit to get used to, (Though, remember that I had little Uncharted experience.) though it was pretty fun.
BF3 is pretty good, and more challenging than CoD.  And by challenging, I mean that the I like CoD menus a lot better than BF3's.  Something interesting is that depending on which side you are on (Spetsnaz vs. U.S.A., I think.) changes the kind of weapons you get.  It's pretty satisfying to kill somebody, and shows a lot of promise.  It's kind of a refreshing break from CoD, as it plays different.  I can't say it's better that BlOps, because I haven't really dived deep into the game.  I haven't played the campaign, and I have only been able to play 1 map.
MW3 I'm gonna get just because I like CoD games in terms of how they play, and I do pretty good at them.  (Pwning 8yo kids is pretty fun.)  Since they are using the same version of the physics engine (I think.  I don't think they made a major update to it like Treyarch did from W@W to BlOps.) it's probably going to be decently close to MW2.  I know that BlOps promised a lot of change, but really, it mostly left the core of the game the same.  In MW3 they're changing the killstreaks and points system, so it's going to be interesting.  I still look at it as more of a MW2 mega-upgrade DLC for $60.
I haven't played or even looked into Gears of War 3 at all, so I can't give you an opinion on that.
I'd say that BF3 and MW3 are both pretty good, and I recommend both of them.  Though if you want something different, then go with BF3.
Uncharted is a good choice, too.

This is all opinion, and I'd recommend looking into each game as much as you can personally.  Try the BF3 beta yourself, too.

Yeah, it's been a month since I've logged into PSN, lol. I should probably download that. The fact that MW3 looks similar to MW2 turns me away, cuz I kinda liked Blops more except for the obvious issues with the game, though. I have thoroughly played the first 2 Uncharted games and they are darn good though. Maybe I'll just buy a PC expansion of Bejeweled .

here's a simple one it may look very complex and wonderous(it is, but not compared to other stuff) but it's actually a tutorial model. one of the thousands =\

a computer you want perhaps? nay.

32GB of RAM with 8 cores, 2.2 TB of memory. who needs anything else. the screen is HD capable, and it's 35'', and it has another screen to the right of it so they work together it's amazing; you can move stuff from one screen to another by dragging XD the other one is like my home screen =\...anyways, with the HD-capable webcam, and with the super awsome microphone which I still don't know where it is(I just talk loudly and they just hear me lol), I'd definitely sell my mom for that.

I got to use a 16-core computer with 64 GB RAM once. It ran on Linux (OpenSUSE). The professor mainly used it for fluid simulations, such as atmosphere simulations.
This was also my first experience with a Linux OS and I was immediately sold.

I am now mostly playing Morrowind, with the occasional SMB/SMB3/SMW speedrun when I have a few minutes to spare.
Morrowind is a great game. Far better than Oblivion in my opinion. The character models have more thought put into them, the overworld is more diverse, far more interesting conversations and no level scaling. I want to play Daggerfall after this, which supposedly has the largest overworld of any free-roaming game.

Spore is a good game, but I found however good the creature creator, after I played the game through twice, it got a bit repetitive.

I forgot the PIN for my bank account on Runescape a day a go. I t said the PIN will be deleted in 3 days, so I'm playing a lot of MC. But since I only recently got the planes mod I would be playing a lot anyway.

I've only got one save and I've had it for ages. I'm on space stage and I just got bored of the game.

Man, Lego Racers 1 is so hardcore. It's truly the 1st game I've ever played from the previous century that I've found really challenging (there've been the hard, but not that bad).

Just finished Skyward Sword, left me thoroughly disappointed. One of my three least favorite Zelda games, a 6.5/10 at highest. Nintendo just doesn't understand the difference between innovation and gimmick anymore.

I've never been an avid Zelda player since I've had a hard knock life of no Nintendo systems minus the Wii. Can you elaborate?

Lack of overworld, lack of NPC's, lack of interesting locations, lack of minigames and sidequests, over reliance on Wii Motion Plus gimmicks, most incapable villain in Nintendo history, most annoying sidekick in Zelda history. The game was more difficult than WW and TP, though this was entirely because every single boss fight except one abused those terrible non-responsive Wii Motion Plus controls. Story-wise, the game is entirely incompatible with MC, the OoT backstory and the AoL backstory. The game managed to disappoint on every front.

Daggerfall was fun, though it had some serious bug problems. Also, it's an old game and suffers from being from a time when video game theory was more or less nonexistent. Still, the story is pretty intense. I just changed the controls to be like morrowind because the default interface is awful.
