Uh. Pretty good but I think you should have covered more ways to stand on spikes, like dropping from a ladder.

I've definately seen it happen, but NEVER by simply jumping. Maybe it's possible, but I've never actually seen it happen. Now, you can get it to happen often by dropping off the side of a ladder, but everywhere else, you're on your own. I've seen it happen by jumping (not just dropping off the side, but full-fledged jump) off of a ladder or after bouncing on a crate, but I've seen it happen the most underwater.

It is possible to do by jumping. It has to be done in one area in BootCamp. But the spacing is immensly difficult.
One of the easier ways is if the spike is underneath a platform, to simply crawl underneath. The spacing is much easier that way.

Platforms have more "friction" , hannah does not slide when landing on it, thats why landing on platforms with spikes is more easy than landing on terrain with spikes.

that's happened to me lots of times. Especially in a case like this:
Code:
x #
x m
xxxxx
If you don't move at all, then when the invincibility runs out, you'd be pretty much in the spike and alive.

But if in this case,
Code:
x #
x m
xxxxx

hannah will die because she is nearer to this spike. Or does she?

Actually, Hannah doesn't appear at the exact starting point. Her CENTER point is placed at the top-left corner of the Starting Point tile, so you actually start halfway into the spike.

Well, but if she lands here.
Code:

She will still die? YES.

Either the left spike or the right spike, i cant remember which. So, on theory, the third situation i stated is impossible to survive.

Have you filmed this section? Not with the platform, but with terrain? I mean, can I see it happen?

I've never tried it with terrain. I never bothered with the sliding bit and I think such a trap looks better with platforms. I suppose if you stop moving before you touch the ground, you won't slide on. I'll have to try it.

No, you always slide. The only way you can stand on the terrain is if you don't slide, and I've never seen that happen only by jumping. Always platforms, ladders, water, etc.

I just tried it out and it turns out your are correct. A piece of terrain is appearantly a tiny bit smaller than a platform, so if you jump on the exact edge of the terrain, you will fall off. This makes the jump normally impossible.

It's not smaller, you just get pushed off.

I didn't state that in this video. No one has posted any videos about that, so.....
