that's the craziest glitch yet. I bet it has something to do with the zero G glitch and the regeneration glitch

Cool. I somebody could figure out how to change them into other things like dynamite, arrows or boulders and make em stay like that, that could make some really cool caves if done correctly.

Quirvy is right here; this is known that when an item regenerates it completely replaces whatever was on its spot. but the fact that it turned into a boulder for a sec - that is what happened to me! well not exactly...one of the metal crates flashed turning into an upward facing spike, and right then a water crate regenerated there and it broke the spikes. now THAT, i have no idea how to explain. i posted about it in the 'new visual glitch' topic.

Question -- Did the water crate appear on the exact same square as the spike? That seems impossible, since it should be impossible to get something to be in the same place as a spike (and then have it regenerate) without destroying the spike first.

After the water crate appears over top of the spike, it makes sense that the "spike destroyed" debris would appear, even though it wouldn't for other objects, since spikes are the only objects that ever release debris in this manner (like when you push a boulder on to a spike, you don't get 5 points, but you still get debris).

So the only way this is all possible is it it's possible for spikes to be able to regenerate. It seems weird that they would, since they don't fall, but if the game internally has to check to see if they will fall or not, it could be possible. Then again, you'd think we'd have noticed already. I'll check.

EDIT: Yeah, spikes, platforms, ladders... They don't regenerate. Well, through any normal means, at least.

the spikes and the boulder weren't even there in the first place. they didn't reappear, they just appeared.
