Tell the Interguild how you found this place.

I found it by looking through Neopets videos, and I saw a HATPC video.  I thought it was awesome and looked up more.  I saw some REALLY cool videos, and went to the site.  So then I decided to join.

This is probably going to be a boring board.

I made one Hatpc level on Neopets. It was one of the most painful procedures ever. I had to constantly hog the computer to finish it before I'd shut down the computer every night and I also found out the hard way that saving your cave jumbles it up.

I eventually heard about the "old cavemaker" and tried to find a place to download it. I found the old site, but the link was broken. Then the new site came and the link was still broken. So I figured i'd have to become a member to get it. I got it from Isa and I decided the place was cool so I stayed.

COMING SOON: A giant meteor. Please.

One night, I had a hatpc dream.

I was on my computer, surfing the internet, when a magical fairy came out, and told me, "Do not visit sites with adult entertainment!!", and then I said, "But wait! Then what sites can I go to? What else is there?!", and the fairy said to me, "oh, Quirvy, I just know you will love interguild.org!"

So, when I woke up, I immidiately went to this site, and there it was! the best site I had ever been to!

It all began in 1942.

I had been spending some time in the Ukrainian town of Sevastopol, just relaxing with the farmers and enjoying the potatoes. Unfortunately, in July of that year, it was occupied by the Nazis.

A local farmer and I took refuge in the abandoned wine cellar of a dilapidated townhouse. We sat in there for two years, living only on wine. Above us, the Nazis had rebuilt the town into a Wehrmacht Headquarters, but none of them had noticed the old cellar.

Farmer Dandonovitch and I got to talking.

"These cursed Nazis," he said one evening. "They are destroying all that is good in the world. Some day, we won't have to hide in here. Some day we'll be free again. Free to farm and drink and make levels for Hannah and the Pirate Caves."

"Yes," I said. "I look forward to farming and drinking and... Wait, what was that? Hannah and the Pirate Caves?"

He then described Hannah and the Pirate Caves to me. Unfortunately, he contracted malaria a couple seconds later and died. But before he died, he said to me, "Flora, it's too late for me, but promise me you'll go home and play Hannah and the Pirate Caves."

So after the Red Army liberated Sevastopol in 1944, I returned to Canada, loaded up HatPC, played it, and enjoyed it enough to stick around for the creation of the Interguild. I named my account in Farmer Dandonovitch's memory.

I used to play through tonnes of caves on a cavelist I found by someone. I pretty much finished looking at that list (and it was pretty long) so I started on the Pcca list. I joined one of the caving guilds that was completely useless and then later I remembered CSD's cave annoying climb:XP except I didn't know the name. I wanted to figure out how to use those crates with the water drop in them so after some searches on google it lead me to the old interguild.

Upcoming HatPC level: Sanctuary, coming soon to an internet browser near you...

I'm not sure if "worked" is the right word. (no offense)

Quirvy's not here to make it say "not nice" instead of what it really does. But at least I added the "(no offense)" right? Well, that might help, if it weren't also part of the joke...

So much for changing the subject.

I think he put it there because your karma-stat looked lonely, so he found a few more stats to squeeze in.

One day, I figured that the best thing I could do in my spare time was not to listen to music, neither was it doing my homework, nor was it to spend time with my friends. I had nothing to do, until those voices in my head that used to tell me to burn things wanted some change, and told me to play this fabulous game called Hannah and the Pirate Caves. Seeing as everything they've told me previously turned out so well, I followed their advice, and voilá.

Once upon a time i was playing neopets using a noob account which i first hacked the wishing well into giving me billions of neopoints then after i took a omelete and tried Whacking a Kass, then found the hatic which is so boring coz armin keep drowning in 2 cm of water then i saw hatpc as the first sequel and then tried it and died 3 times in the first level cause i didn't even know how to move it and end up dying in the spikes at the left and then lost the interest to listening music on youtube and one day i got really bored listening to those techno music and decided to find hatpc and found canadiansteak's super slow and ultra boring 50minute long walkthrough of the hatpc level 1 which i then noticed Bribe and massacre by jebby and watched the whole video and gets impressed so i went and find more virtual custom levels which i didn't know even existed in the universe and saw accel and quivy and interguild in youtube and therefore found this site.

It all began in 835 AD in China. In the little town of Henikishen, two boys were born in the same night. They were called Won Ki and Chan Tuo. Ki was the larger, faster and stronger of the two, but Tuo was the prettier and smarter. Ever during their childhood, the two would compete over every small thing. Who could climb to the top of the hill fastest, who had the strongest grasshopper or who could get the attention of farmer's daughter. Up till their teens, this competition was fierce, but friendly.
But that all changed when a fugative family who fled from the bandits up north arrived at the town. The family had a single daughter, called Yi Gua, who both Ki and Tuo instantly fell in love with. The boys both fought for her love, their battle turning ever fiercer. In the end, Ki challenged Tuo to stick-fighting match at the ridge of the cliff. Tuo knew he couldn't win, but pride forced him to accept the challenge.
At dawn, the following the day, both boys stood across eachother, with their priced sticks in their hand. As the fight started, Ki rushed towards Tuo, who in turn kept his ground. But as they nearly got in a reach of eachother, Tuo suddenly leaped to the side, over the edge of the cliff. Scared, Ki dropped his stick and rushed over. But as he looked over the edge to see what became of his old friend, he saw Tuo lying on a branch. Before Ki could respond, Tuo leaped of and struck Ki in his face with the stick.
Ki was enraged by the dirty trick played upon him. He grabbed his own stick and swearing revenge, he left the town.

Years passed. Tuo and Gua had married and they were blessed with two beautiful daughters. All was going well, until the day of Tuo's 21's birthday. His daughters were playing by the pond, when they heard a monk singing a song at the other side. They were captivated by the beauty of his voice and went over to him.
"Why stranger," the oldest said, "what is a voice as clear as mountain dew doing in this outskirt of the Great Empire? If it were to bless those at court, it would most certainly be awarded with many riches."
"This voice," the monk replied, "requires no riches. The mountain dew itself appears without any need, doesn't it? No, all it needs is souls to behold it."
And so they conversed as they were striding upstream.

As the sun was starting to submerge in the unexplored lands, Tuo started worrying for his daughters. But search as he might, he would never find his two daughters again.

And that is how I found this site.
