Haha, title says all; what is this game? I see a lot of "suggestions" but no description. Is it a game that isn't a game yet, just an idea?

Also, is there any way to get involved with helping make it? I would be happy to write music, or make some music-based sound effects (like dying) or help--assuming the engine is simple enough--add some features.

I'd say it's a game that is approximately 0.5% complete. Coincidentally, 0.5% is also the chance that it'll ever be completed. Feel free to join what I'm sure is a purely hypothetical conversation.

It's a game we're developing! Yay! It's gonna be SOOOOO COOOOOL!

Aeon is our remake of HATPC. we got sick of neopets's bad management, and since then we've been trying to make our own game.

It's gonna be in Flash, coded in ActionScript 3.

I've begun coding it already, and I'm currently working on the collision detection but construction is being held back b/c I also have to work on a lot stuff around here.

and making music would be great, actually. CSD tried making something but we didn't like how repetitive it was.

I'm afraid I can't help develop in Flash, 'cause I hardly know it at all, but I can write music, make some graphics (mostly just pretty textures, haha, though I can do some basic pixel work) or some other things. Let me know! I would be happy to help out.

Not sure what kind of music we'd be interested in. We're making Aeon to be completely built around the purpose of user-level making, but it will still have a story mode. So saying that, anything would be fine. Maybe something sci-fi, b/c the story is about these space explorers getting stranded on planet Aeon.

Haha, figures that techno is my weak spot. Let's continue talking on that other thread though.
