I gotta go with Zero G III as the most creative one too, although that is mainly because I don't think the entries were very creative at all, or at least not creative in the way that they really grabbed ones attention. | | Livio |

ok, so far we have:
MOST ENJOYABLE LEVEL:
My Friend Boulder - 2
You Want The Candy - 1
OVERALL BEST LEVEL: Queen Of Spades
MOST CREATIVE LEVEL: Zero G III, probably
BEST DESIGN: The 12 Waves
if jebby won't judge these, then, omg, results can finally be released , I'll start releasing them after I write the weekly update.... | | jebby |

I'll try and judge these badboys tonight - shouldn't be too hard. DBK definitely wins most enjoyable. | | Isa |

So, Jebby still hasn't judged, although he said he would. Shall we wait for him again? | | jebby |

Yeah, let's do that. With any luck, I'll decide by the time Livio comes back. With any luck. | | jebby |

I've incorporated my votes in there. Three ties and one decisive victory. Do we want to break the ties or have joint winners? HATPC Hardcore wins hands down for me and I personally preferred Zichaci to QoS. | | Isa |

Well, QoS 3 - Zichaci 1. So no tie there.
12 waves/HATPC Hardcore is a temporary tie though because Jell didn't take a stance and Accel voted for both.
And I think that we shouldn't break the tie between DBK's caves. Let him win with both, both are really good. | | jebby |

12 waves and HH are both really different levels. I think that 12 waves was a little fluky/random in its design - I can't imagine everything was planned exactly like that. HH has clearly been designed beautifully and with great attention to detail. So HH for me.
And yeah, DBK should win the prize automatically for being the most enjoyable level-maker or something. | | jellsprout |

I didn't really vote in the Best Level either, to be honest, as I didn't play either cave. So I'll abstain from voting from that one. But I'll try to tiebreak Best Design today.

I don't see the beauty behind HH. Perhaps it's because it's impossible to get farther than 3 traps into the cave, but to me it just appears to be as much difficult traps condensed into an 90x89 cave as possible, without any overall design behind the level or any attention to the actual playability of the level. I agree that it is difficult to make a large level like that that actually works as intended, but design-wise the level isn't really that amazing.
So I give my vote to The 12 Waves.

so that means we have: Quote: MOST ENJOYABLE LEVEL:
My Friend Boulder - 2
You Want The Candy - 2
OVERALL BEST LEVEL: Queen Of Spades
MOST CREATIVE LEVEL: Zero G III
BEST DESIGN: The 12 Waves
we still need to break that tie. winning both would be weird. Maybe we can flip a coin? Or wait! let's look at what the people have said.... My Friend Boulder has an average rating of 8.4/10 with 4 votes, while You Want the Candy has an average rate of 9.4 with 9 votes. Looks like YWTC wins!
We also haven't broken the tie in the Speed category between Great Greens and Into the Jetstream. So let's look at what the people have said..... Into the Jetstream has 9/10 with 3 votes, and Great Greens has 7/10 with only one vote. Looks like Jetstream wins? Well, Great Greens only has one vote, but then again, that in itself might tell you how much people like it. But, bleh, this is only for 4th place.
hey! when are you guys gonna comment on this idea: Quote: And b/c of the lack of decent FR2 entries, I'd like to suggest that Slackin in Free Rider 2 and Rocky Road replace Simple Start and Topsy Turvy in terms of getting awards in the Best FR2 levels category. If we are gonna kinda manipulate the awards we give out, there are some categories where there are too few entries to simply award everyone with a trophy. Like if a category only has two entries, maybe only give an award for first place? I don't see the harm with that. | | Isa |

That...does feel a little bit awkward, I have to say no to that suggestion. Just because those levels were better in our opinion doesn't mean we can actually replace the ones that actually entered. That would be absolutely horrible, our credibility would sink like a stone. | | jebby |
