Lol, whoever made this topic made a  EPIC FAIL. On the recent comment box when you hover your mouse above the topic it says, "Free Rider Comp #2 - ballons only [N TOPIC]" As for the comp itself I'm tempted to make a actual level this time, because I actually have a good idea.

COMING SOON: A giant meteor. Please.
Give me +karma. Give me +karma.

Originally it was a N level competition - I chose the wrong game. I edited the news and now it is a FR2 comp. That is a glitch Accel should fix - I cannot influence that.

And Jell, the Unicycle is very difficult to control and steer, and I think some of us tried to use it before the competition. I'm not as sure that you ever used the balloon though.

fixed

all you can do with the balloon is go up and "not go up" right? lol I'm not sure if this is gonna be worse than the unicycle comp or not...

or actually, the balloon would be great for levels with tons of art in them.

There is a way for the balloon to go left, but you need to be standing on the ground to do it.

The balloon is easier to control, but you have far less freedom with it.

I think that the use of gravity powerups could improve a level like this very much.

This one is far easier to control than the unicycle! The whole thing about unicycles is that they were so difficult to control that you couldn't go up a slope without using a power up. However, seeing as you can't do a loop with a balloon or even a motion that resembles a loop, using and abusing gravity is more important for balloons than unicycles.

You can't go to the left without a powerup with the balloon.

Lol, as with most DDA's for this game.

Although, if you make a video recording of it you could enter that, I guess, seeing as the experience is pretty much the same.

As I entered this, I won't be judging. But we have many other staff members, so that shouldn't be a problem.

As a staff member, you don't need to join. You can simply judge without assigning yourself.
