I've created this thread to try and encourage people to try Knytt Stories.

Now, firstly, it's time for a better explanation than the one on the Games Directory.

Knytt Stories is a game that is mainly about exploring. Your character cannot attack, and is completely harmless. It has a complicated level editor which should be explained by some helpful interguild user...(maybe I should make one). It has the most potential out of all our games, but it has never properly caught on.

I will be updating this reguarly as I build my own guide to Knytt stories.

I like play Knytt, it's a normal - hard complicated game. I think because of it, the post is not to me. And, you're right. Karma + to guyguyxtreme!

I think the most important thing to increasing the popularity of this game however is by first making some levels so that users become interested in the game. and then having a Q&A section for the level editor as well as a getting started topic, because very few people would actually read a guide properly and ths allows them just to ask about the thing they don't understand.

Heh, another one of our members tried to branch off of this Interguild with a site of his own and it didn't work so well, so I imagine this will yield the same outcome. Although if it's any consolation, your site looks better than his did.

Maybe just start by making a few levels?

What sort of levels? Hard? Easy?
What type of levels? Enviromental? Puzzle?

Well I'll stick with a large, easy enviromental level... Expect it in a few days...

I found a amusing level on the internet. It's called 'Don't eat the Mushroom' by UncleSporky. Do those things really happen when you eat mushrooms?
