I don't get it. Is it the 10 October 2010 thing vs the October 10th, 2010?

Merry Columbus Day, Americans. Let's celebrate the discovery of an island next to our country (even thought the natives and vikings found it 1st and I don't get school off for it anymore).

I deleted a post by yours so that it was post number 7776 at the time that I responded, and besides, you've made posts that have been deleted, meaning you've already passed post number 7777 without noticing.

Of course, but do you know how many of your posts have been deleted? If not, then have fun guessing when you're around 77600.

I just watched the Pokemon episode Electric Soldier Porygon (Japanese version) - it was banned for making over 500 Japanese kids have seizures. But I watched it, and funny that, I didn't get a seizure at all. Not even the slightest headache! Maybe it was because I'm used to very bright lights - or maybe Japanese people have more sensitive eyesight...?

It was a great episode. PORYGON FTW <3

The Japanese have far smaller living rooms. At least at those times. The children were used to sit and play on the ground. And when the tv appeared they would simply sit directly in front of the tv to watch. At first this wasn't a problem, but the tvs kept getting bigger and bigger. In that episode there was a scene with many flashes. This normally isn't a problem, but because the children were sitting so close to those big screens, it gave them seizures. Although the Pokémon staff was fairly certain the episode wouldn't cause any problems in the US or Europe, they decided to ban it anyway as a precaution measure. So you not getting any seizures is quite understandable.

Well that explains it! Thanks for your wonderful insight, Jell.

Also, yesterday, my cat brought in a mouse. Mum was scared of it, but I wasn't. It was in a corner, so I grabbed it by the tail, rested it in my palm and took it outside, and put it in the garden.
...Just what is with women and cats? I know I'm a girl, but a small and cute creature doesn't frighten me.

The mouse was still alive and the cat didn't fight you off when you came near it?
