Quirvy. It stopped being funny 3 seconds after the first one. You even potentially ruined the first even more with that second one. Besides, I think you're just trying to be stupid, I mean, who does scroll down after taking a screenshot? You only need to press the Prnt Scrn button, and even then, the times of the Interguild don't change unless you refresh, so if you're on a page saying "THomas: [23hr,59m]" then you won't need to panic at all unless you refresh at the last second.

tl;dr The joke is dead

two things:

1st of all, if I knew that that joke was so bad that it would offend you so much to the point where you would need to write an entire post about how bad it is, I would have never done such a thing.

2nd of all, if you are going to write a post about how bad it is please use your own original critique. Your post was decent up until "You even potentially ruined the first even more with that second one." which was blatantly taken from Isa's comment in the chatbox, "not only was it not funny for the second time, it also retroactively ruined the first time."

I can tell you didn't think about it ruining the first on your own because the second post already had -3 karma prior and a bit after Isa said that, and now that you said that, my karma went down 1 again, but my failed joke didn't decrease. Now, I'm no detective, but I'll bet that you originally -1'd my the "fail joke", saw Isa's post, and then decided that you were going to -1 the other one too, and then somewhere in there you decided to try to take a shot at me to try to make yourself look smart, while using Isa's point in the chatbox as part of your opening statement.


I have no problem with you -1ing a failed joke, nor do I really have a problem with you criticizing my joke for not being good, but if you're going to criticize it, could you kindly not repeat what someone else has already said? The first 2(/3) sentences don't tell me anything Isa already told me in the chatbox, so it's basically coming off as you taking a shot at me.


Normally I'd just let a criticism to a bad joke go, but you really irked me by basically taking Isa's statement and using it to take a shot at me that was already took, so I'll respond to the rest of your criticism.

To respond to your first sentence here, no, I was actually trying to portray myself as an intelligent individual who just happened to have a shortcoming while taking screenshots. (this is sarcasm, since it appears as though you have trouble understanding the intent of jokes, whether it be bad or good)

Now back to all seriousness, in the first part of this paragraph, you criticized my "joke" for not being funny. And now it looks you're giving me legitimate criticism on why my screenshot should never have failed in the first place, as if it wasn't a joke and it was a legitimate attempt at taking a screenshot, and then you go back to referring to it as a joke. I really don't know what to make of your post other than that I don't like it. Maybe you're secretly captain obvious, and he took over mid post or something? I don't know why you would possibly need to explain to me that it doesn't make much sense for me to scroll down while taking a screen shot, or how the page won't go away unless I refresh it. I mean, seriously?


I'll let you in on a little secret: The purpose of this was to tease Thomas, whom yesterday was not around when he surpassed 24 hours, and jell demanded that he had a screenshot to prove he passed it. No normal members could possibly see him because he was hidden, and he wasn't on, but I took a legit screenshot for him, to display that he got it. Only when I looked at it did I notice, "Oh, whoops, that drop down is in the way. But you know, I like that..." I posted it as an accidental failed screenshot(which it was btw(and I did take one of Thomas without it in the way afterwards, but didn't save it because I didn't feel like it was necessary. Thomas was going to do it again, and even if he wasn't I'd have given him the award since he did actually do it)) to tease thomas, who then had to stay on for 24 hours a second time. Then today, right before he broke 24 hours again, he jokingly told me I should try another screenshot.

I have 3 options:
1. Don't do it
2. Take his advice and do it successfully
3. Take his advice but intentionally fail

Would I really do 2? No. It was between 1 and 3 and I decided I'd tease Thomas again, even though he'd get his own screenshot this time.

So please everyone kindly murder me for doing so.

Has that ever happened before? Like, when the karma isn't spammed?

I'm more fascinated that we have 7 posts in a row with multiple rates (Silver's and Quirvy's posts have multiple rates nullified by each other), each post getting a equal or higher rate than the previous one. I haven't seen that previously I think.
