Pre-Takeover
The real neezles is the younger sister of another previous member, Hannah Banana, or Aych Bee ( HB ). Neezles' first stay in the interguild was not a pleasant one. She spammed many impossible levels for Hannah and the Pirate Caves. Even her possible caves weren't very well developed. Many of these caves were slammed with poor ratings and reviews, and eventually Livio deleted a number of them, due to their impossibility.
Neezles also took note of Livio holding the record for spending the most time online consecutively, and then declared that she would break this record. She twice attempted this, and both times she fell far short. Eventually, she just became inactive.
The Takeover
One day in December 2009, a_neezles_a came online, and declared that she wanted her account to be deleted from the interguild. With Livio being the only one with the power to delete accounts, Quirvy was unable to do so, but instead, he offered to commandeer her account, so that she would no longer have control of it. She agreed, and Quirvy responded by openly posting her new password on the chatbox, specifically so that neezles, and other members as well, could use her account. Quirvy then edited Neezles' user settings so that the account would appear to be mainly obsessed to pineapples, a reference to cedric_09_ trying to be "random and funny" by use of the word pineapple (it was not very successful), at around the same time. Not soon after, Quirvy realized that he needed to change the password again, because non-members could also see the password and log onto the account. At this point, nothing had really been done so that the public was aware of this takeover.

Quirvy then contacted Livio, and requested that he make it so that this newly acquired account would appear to always be online, so that he could stage her trying, and succeeding at breaking Livio's record. Livio agreed, and without any of the other staff members knowing about this, the plan was put into action. Quirvy created a new topic, GOING FOR RECORD under a_neezles_a, where neezles, depicted as one who poorly understands English and always uses caps lock, declares that she will break Livio's record for longest time online. This topic included a poll asking members for their opinions on whether or not neezles would break the record, and a header, claiming that she would indeed break the record.
Shos, playing along, but not knowing what he was really up against, declared that whatever time neezles could reach, shos would be able to beat it, using something that would automatically refresh his page every ten seconds. Neezles of course, accepted this challenge, and before an entire day had passed, both had beaten Livio's record, and Isa had already banned both accounts to prevent them from doing this. Shos was unable to carry on, but neezles, not playing by the rules, continued to break the record.
The staff members, or at least some of them, were able to realize that neezles was not actually online, and Jell confirmed this by changing neezle's username. This new username would show up, but at the same time, a_neezles_a would still be listed at the top of the online members box.
The height of the whole scheme occurred right around when Neezles was about to surpass the 24 hour mark. Many people were online when it happened, including the real neezles account under a different username. However, instead of the online members box displaying her as being online for 24 hours, it ended up displaying it as <1 min.
Everyone took note of this, and then Livio changed the Online Members Box, so that once neezles passes one hour, it is no longer 1 hour and 30 minutes, but 1.5 hours. He also made it count past 24 hours.
a_neezles_a managed to be listed as online for 50.5 hours, before Livio removed her from the list, and then Quirvy Banned her, and claimed her to be "Perma-banned" due to her bad grammar.
Effects of the Takeover
Neezles did not actually remain permanently banned. In fact, the real neezles returned about six months after the takeover and took back the account. She would then go on to legitimately get herself permanently banned from the Interguild
Several users, such as Jazz and Krotomo, were not aware of the takeover and began criticizing neezles for taking pride in something as unimportant as staying online longer than any other member. Neezles responded by claiming that they were just jealous of her greatness.
Overall, this entire scheme led to neezles' karma increasing by 3.
Shos also managed to (il)legitimately beat the unofficial record for longest time online by staying online for about 13 hours, before Isa banned him in order to prevent him from appearing on the Online Members Box.
20 times, the neezles account was recorded as being banned or unbanned in the Staff's Ban Log (The Ban Log records all Bans, Karma and General, made on any users. This does not record suspensions)
A competition was held in memory of Neezles, who was at the time banned, called the Neezles Remembrance Competition. A non-existent cave called "a_neezles_a" won the competition, apparently made by 3 users, all with the username, "a_neezles_a". soccerboy13542 came in 2nd place, and shos in 3rd.

I'm not creepy, I just have good memory. It's not my fault I know so much about Haily's dad. It all started on August 23rd 2009 at 4:30pm PST in the staff forum on IC. You're kidding right? I am  and I even had to BAN neezles for the short period off time when he/she/it was spamming IC. It didn't go on for that long though because the spammers on IC whether robots or real people get ZERO attention from us mods. I also added Isa on facebook and I have 1? 2? pictures of myself on there from a long time ago. I don't really use facebook that much though. So no, I am not neezles. | |

Those are spambots. HB was the 20th member of the old IG. Because she joined so soon, I always wondered if she were somebody from the HATPC guilds. There was a member called "xbananasplitzx" or something along those lines (there were a few accounts with similar names) who was known for spamming. I always wondered if they were the same person or not. If they were, she's been around since near the very beginning. | |
