Defining how to act like town is hard because it's not something you do in just one post, you do it over the course of a whole game. But yeah, look at your flipped townreads, see what they do and did, read a guide on how to play as town, etc. Many ways how to act like town, none are easily defined. You usually know when you stumble across a town-player before he has flipped.

Also, Isa, my theories are better than yours because your seem to involve me being scum which I know isn't true. They also don't tell us anything.
Let's entertain your assumption:
1. Thomas and Silver are not aligned.
2. There are no third parties or vigilantes.
What are we left with?
Soccer looks scummy for accusing Thomas.
Silver looks scummy for the early rc which can't really be verified as you're claiming.
Thomas looks scummy for forcing Silver to rc, if she's actually town.
So Silver and Thomas ends in a stalemate, that leaves soccer and shavey (for lurking).
I geuss you've chosen me as obvscum, which is ridiculous, but if I take the objective route, does that mean you think the scum team is me, soccer, and shavey? The mafia seems more competent than that.

Doesn't have to be a serial killer. Vigilante seems more likely for that reason.

No, they do not. My theories are as simple as you posted there:
Thomas and Silver are not both Mafia.
There are no third parties or vigilantes.

From my POV we're left with you, Jellsprout, Shavey Dave, Thomas and Yuggy as plausibly scum in no real order. Silver is town due to her claim and Thomas is...at least not to be lynched today, due to the claim.

It's not easy to claim at all. Thomas could have targeted her, Harumbai could have targeted her, Jazz could have targeted her if he was alive, etc. etc. There's a lot of active roles in the game, seemingly. For three straight nights, people have chosen not to target Silver, and she has to keep that up until she dies if she is Mafia. I can't control what others choose to do.

Here we are again - you started off by saying that you agree with Soccerboy that there is a third party role, and now you've backed off that train of thought. Anyway, let's say we mislynch today, making it 5:3. Mafia kills someone, making it 4:3. If we have a Vigilante, do you think that
1. the Vigilante shot at Jellsprout, the only one that has been protected so far, or abstained during Night 2?
2. the Vigilante should shoot in what's essentially a 50/50 situation, causing town's immediate loss if he or she hits a townsperson? If not, why should the Vigilante have abstained during Night 2 and 1? (Yes, I assume that you don't think that the Vigilante would have shot Jell)

I did not agree or disagree with his third party claim. I said I believed his claim that thomas tried to kill him. I know he sort of combined those in a weird way, but if you look at what I said, it's clearer.
I say I Believe a claim.
I say I agree with a theory.
Alternately, I'll say I believe a theory that I've put forward, not someone else.
This is a subtle difference, but I think we're clever enough to see it.
Option two. It's what I'd do. Why? Because the situation is only close to 50/50 from a purely statistical point of view. You're not considering that he would have all kinds of other information to guide the shot. Since the mafia naturally has about a 50% chance of winning (see wikipedia entry for the math), the information the vigilante has will tip the scales drastically in his favor.
Now, the point about getting NK'd and wasting the shots is a concern. But that goes back to having a 10/13 chance of hitting a townie on N1. Is that really worth it?

Why is soccer not on your list if your bashing me for believing his claim? I just reread your post and I don't understand what motivates your attack on me if not for agree with socc.r and voting thomas?

Your claim's good enough for me for now. I think it'd be too risky for a mafia to claim doctor, that's just begging for a scumslip.

I don't really tether myself to a posting style in these games. Game 1 I was so scared of saying something stupid so I rubberstamped everything and almost got myself mod-killed-- for things outside the game. Tbh, in Game 2, I was thinking of using some of your more aggressive techniques, Thomas. I thought they at least got you somewhere in Game 1. I was only able to do some trolololing and bland crap before I got killed, though. Game 3, I just spoke my mind, because neither side would necessarily lose anything from me dying. I consider myself fairly new to mafia unlike Thomas/Isa, so I still try to improve my "style".

I guess Snipe's the most scummy one after Thomas, but I had a difficult time keeping up with his argument. What are you trying to prove right? I felt kinda dumb because by the time I read the last new post, I was thinking, "how does this relate to him being or not being mafia?", lol. Can you dumb it down for me? Tell me who you find suspicious and why? The only thing I get out of all these lists and talking about dead player's roles is the impression that you're cracking.

I havn't been able to present my theories and back them because I've been busy trying to show that the arguments against me are weak and outlandish.
Right now my list is thomas, jell, silver. I've been thinking maybe isa, but I don't know why exactly and also that would make me cry if thomas, jell, and isa were the mafia team.
If the third isn't isa or silver (which is entirely possible), I don't know who it would be.

I've noticed an internal logical inconsistency in my thinking. I'm suspicious of thomas and silver because of a theory that jell supports (or supported? Don't know where he stands now). Yet I also think jell is mafia.
Not sure where this leaves me.
I see two options:
1. I played badly and jell reads that as mafia, so I'm just subconsiously prone to thinking someone who attacks me is an enemy i.e mafia. Therefore, Jell is not mafia, but thomas and silver probably are.
2. Jell is mafia and either thomas or silver or neither (but not both) are mafia and jell just riled me up even more.

No, you are blatantly voting me for something that occurred today, not "for the same reasons as yesterday" or else you would have voted me in one of your posts made earlier in the day. And explain why the role claim was "mega suspicious." I would expect you to come under fire from others for voting a claimed PR so quickly, especially one who claimed an extremely powerful one like a doc.

While there is such a thing as bussing, I think you're correct in assuming that that's not what's happening here.
I disagree with you about point 1, but we've been over this so many times. Jell is still a suspicious character in my mind, but not as much as you, so eh.

Reason why I am holding you as a scumread over Soccerboy: You've been all over the place in your defense of yourself (going from believing Soccerboy to...I don't know, sort of believing him - you were unclear), and he didn't make such an opportunistic vote on Thomas as you did. Soccerboy hasn't pushed a case on Silver either, which you've done and continue to do.
