Lol, you can't suck at gradients because there's no actual 'skill' involved in making them. Anyone could make gradients.

But those are actually really cool clouds! Sure they're not realistic but I knew instantly they were clouds. Great job on the background as a whole, too. =)

Man, in all the gradients' simplicity, they somehow make the main object/person look really good! I also find that the amount of detail you put into your images has majorly improved in like 1 month.

what exactly ARE gradients?
I mean I know them from math, and therefore I know the meaning, but in drawings - what are they? do they smooth details or stuff?
