Actually, jerk is the derivative of acceleration via time. Yank is the derivative of force with respect to time. So yank = jerk*mass =massive jerk. Oh, physics.... To be more precise, I don't think "yank" is an official term, it's just the name that everyone who needs it calls it. Jerk is also called other things, jolt and impulse are the ones I know of. Everyone runs faster with a knife. | |
